  1. That was a really good deal. Can't buy everything all the time, though.
  2. You should post a screenshot of the result for the Psycho 1 in the Record Prices thread!
  3. Then use ComicConnect. They get top prices realized for GA books as well.
  4. I would just watch out for board members sending you PMs wanting a piece of it. Sharks patrol these waters.
  5. I'm going to have to cut this short. All remaining books in this thread are 30% off. Feel free to pm with questions or offers. Thanks again to all for looking.
  6. I feel like that Wolfman has intentions for Vampi that I don't approve of...
  7. Vampirella 2 has always been the less appreciated book. I think it's because the cover isn't that awesome and it's sandwiched between 1 and 3 which have traditionally been viewed as the big keys of the run.
  8. I'm posting this from the selling thread, originally posted by @Joshua33
  9. Guys, apologies for the delay in wrapping this up. I have a couple of family members that have become seriously ill at the same time and we're trying to sort out support for them. I'm going to see if I can't get the last bunch of mags listed in the next day. Thanks again for your patience.
  10. Very Cool book! Here's what the original art looks like (not mine, found on internet):
  11. http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/index.cgi Excellent as a quick reference, but heavily SF, unfortunately. It is tough as there are many good sources but most are specific to genre. Gary Lovisi's YouTube videos are excellent as is this book he put together on crime and bad girl books: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005GXQXB6/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_hsch_vapi_tkin_p1_i0
  12. Do you mind sharing what it sold for? Just curious. If not, no worries.
  13. I'm sorry, I think you misunderstood my post. I'm not saying that a Superman 1 isn't worth more than an 8.0 of a CA 1 or an AF15. My comparison was meant between highest graded copies of those books. To make it even more clear for you. If you could choose a Captain America 1 in CGC 9.6 or an Amazing Fantasy 15 in CGC 9.6 or a Superman 1 in CGC 8.0, which one would you take. But I think everything you wrote is debatable. otherwise. YMMV.
  14. My confusion about the price paid is that it's an 8.0. Not a 9.0, 9.2, 9.4, etc. And while it is scarce in higher grades, it's known to not even be the best copy in existence of Superman 1. And Superman 1 isn't the most valued book in comics. Action 1, Detective 27, CA 1, AF15 are all bigger books in top grades than Superman 1. But right now, the impression is that the Church copy of Superman 1 is the most valuable comic in existence. And that's along way from being so. Especially given it's restored. For the money spent on this book, I have a very long list of alternatives I would purchase instead. If the buyer were to sell it at auction, I think they'll be disappointed.
  15. And that's it for the Men's mags. I'll be listing more Creepys and a Weird Tales of the Macabre 2 in the morning. Thanks to all for looking!
  16. Sir 10/61, VG/F 5.0, Classic hanging cover. A nice copy structurally but the smear on the front makes me reduce it to the current grade. $40 Back Cover:
