  1. Recent pickup. Tough to find these due to their inherent resistance to search engines. Tougher still to find them in fresh shape but I'm slowly chipping away at them.
  2. A soft 7.0 is my grade. On a bad day, CGC could easily grade it up or down by a half point.
  3. So I saw Morbius today. An old friend that I hadn't seen in a couple of years wanted to get together and he suggested we see it. I'm not going to mince words in my assessment.
  4. I don't like your attitude. Or the words you use.
  5. Amen. And I'm a big fan of Oscar Isaac. But his talents felt... under-utilized in this. We'll see if it comes around.
  6. I recommend you purchase a very high number of modern variants and also 3rd and 4th printings of modern comics. If you can, try to corner the market on one or two of them, buy as many copies in any condition you can find them in. Also, as many copies of Spider-man #1 from 1990, doesn't matter which ones or what the condition is, buy all that you can get.
  7. I'd never store anything valuable in a PVC holder. Top loaders are bad.
  8. I definitely saw it. It was real and it was spectacular.
  9. In which case, the seller left a bit of money on the table. Unfortunate for them but great for the buyer.
  10. This is my hope as well. In other good news, expectations are being set so low that one could walk right over the bar without ever noticing it was there. That's usually a good thing.
  11. On the bright side, you've got a nice copy of the first appearance of Wolverine.
  12. Agreed. The seller is probably not loving that sale. But then, that's the risk of auctions- completely dependent on who's looking during that time.
  13. Man! What a great bunch of books, Tupenny! A lot of cream from the bronze age. That CM 17 is one of the best covers of the period, IMO. GLWTS!
  14. Fortunately, they don't certify hardcovers like that, Foggy. Why have a book that's encased in plastic so you can't read it? Seems wrong to me...
  15. It's a distressing image in almost every way.
  16. One should always be a little scared when they see that @Lazyboy has quoted them.
  17. Most of them did, Foggy. Most of them did.
