  1. Agreed.. That book had an awesome cover!
  2. This year starts to end with 25 I thought? If they're doing 15-20-15 issues in each yea?
  3. I think they're gonna speed up the aging process
  4. Image has been pushing getting books out on a regular schedule recently. Most likely means books will be out ever month to 6 weeks, but with more breaks after arcs. This is a welcome improvement. Agreed. No. I don't care if this ever transfers over to other media but I'd love to see more of the EOW world and characters explored in the future. Fifty issues is just too few imo. Also agreed. It would be cool to see this on TV, but I feel like it would have to be too heavily adapted. I've heard people mention it might make an awesome animated series, and I think that would be pretty awesome, too. I wish the issue "The World" gave us a little insight to the rest of the world, rather than just the various nations of America.
  5. Could we be getting rapid fire East of West issues?! https://imagecomics.com/comics/releases/east-of-west-24
  6. Freeman was sent to Cheveyo, Wolf's father, for mentoring in the nation when he was young, so Wolf and Freeman grew up together. Here's some panels to support my claim: From Issue 9, our first introduction to the Kingdom: From Issue 10, where it is revealed Cheveyo is Wolf's father during his showdown with death:
  7. Two East of West issues in a month? It's a Christmas miracle!
  8. I wonder what that last page was for. With the "2016" on it.. Could it be another teaser for Feel Better Now, like in the back of Manhattan Projects 21?
  9. This was a really well executed issue, for sure!
  10. You know, sometimes a writer needs to know when to get the hell out of the way of the art. What was up with all the word balloons in this issue?
  11. I thought Lost's ending was fine. It wasn't perfect, but it was good.
  12. I was digging Revolution until the mid season break of season 1..
  13. I thought my Image Expo variant of EoW 16 had an outside chance of being a 9.9, but I'll gladly take the 4 9.8s for the set!
  14. West Coast is more sentimental to me.. I just had a copy I thought looked good and wanted to slab it (thumbs u
  15. Got some slabs back from the CGC.
  16. The only thing that bugs me about this series is how we move away from the main plot line for several issues at a time. I definitely want to see more of the story that revolves around Death and the Ranger. Of course, these stories, about Doma Lux for example, really enrich the world that Hickman and Dragotta have built, so I can't really complain about this too loudly. I just really want to know what Death and the Ranger are up to.
  17. 3 Down, 2 to Go. Ryan Bodenheim brought the goods at NYCC this year!
  18. Here's a really long overdue post.. Back around Image Expo in January, Felix hooked me up with the connecting cover poster, which was awesome of him to do. Rhymenoceros was also very awesome and gave me some pointers and links to how he custom framed his poster himself. I FINALLY got around to getting it all together. This isn't gonna be the final spot that this hangs at, I just wanted to get a look at it with the rest of my prints. Gotta find the final home for this guy. (I'd direct link them, but they're really big pictures and I forgot to resize) So, I wasn't sure what to do with the convention exclusive hardcover of volume 1, since it doesn't look they're gonna put all the volumes out in this format. I decided to get 5 frequent Hickman collaborators to do 5 different pieces of at the end of each issue. At the end of Issue 1, I wanna get Death, Xiaolian at the end of 2, Wolf in 3, Crow in 4, and Babylon in 5. I messaged Felix a few months out from SDCC and told him my idea, and we set up pieces with Dragotta and Pitarra. I basically told him it's dealers choice, so whoever the artists wanted to do they could do.
