  1. Dragotta tweeted out some preview pages: Issue #20 Issue #21
  2. It's interesting, because Hickman said at SDCC that East of West is probably the most important book he works on. It's just unfortunate that he's contractually obligated at Marvel.
  3. Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm all in as well. There's no chance I'm dropping this book anytime soon. The waiting sucks of course, but I absolutely believe it's well worth it.
  4. 10 a year is reasonable. I wish that they would at least do what Saga does, and announce a hiatus or something. I'm fine with them taking a couple of months to get ahead of the work load. Hopefully, when Hickman finishes up his Marvel work we can get a more regular shipping schedule.
  5. That sketch cover is freaking wild!
  6. That's a really long wait time.. Talking about like 7 months an arc or so..
  7. Man, to be honest.. I don't love either cover.. They don't really scream East of West to me
  8. I'm like triple dipping.. Issues, Trades, and Hardcover.. What the hell is wrong with me?
  9. DCBS is also selling the regular hardcover for $25 https://www.dcbservice.com/product/may150491/east-of-west-the-apocalypse-year-one-hc-special-discount
  10. Psssh.. This book is OKAY.. maybe.. I guess..
  11. Who's to say the Balloon gets him, and not the Beast?
  12. Dragotta tweeted the cover EoW #19.. And it might just be the best one yet.
  13. Update: Talked to Nick and from the sounds of it, there will be a different cover than what was solicited for the HC. Awesome! Thank you, Felix! As for homage covers.. I love the idea of Spidey #129! I love Iron Man, so Iron Man #227 comes to mind.. Death can be Iron Man, and the Mandroids can be War, Conquest, and Famine.
  14. SDCC 2013 I believe. That print pops up on eBay from time to time.. There was one on there recently, don't know if it's still there tho.
  15. I actually finally got around to getting my Matthew Sutton sketch covers framed and on my East of West Wall.. So here's an update, next up will be my Image Expo Poster (Thanks Felix!), which will probably mean I'm gonna have to rearrange some stuff.
  16. Sutton is a great dude! Glad to see him getting some love on here!!
  17. That's a good point, do you remember is Saga or Manhattan Projects did as well? I don't take it that way.. You're certainly entitled to feel the way you do.. I would agree with you if slapped an orange background on the top half. It doesn't seem like much, but all the covers have a solid cover up top, with the image tinted in the same shade, and since Dragotta took over the cover work, he's added some textures to the backgrounds as well. A single orange figure on a full sized white cover doesn't feel like East of West to me.
  18. Honestly, I don't think it fits in at all..
  19. I like the image. Not sure about the color. Yeah, that's probably what my biggest issue is, If it were black with regularly covered Death on it, I'd be fine with it.. Or if like, Apocalypse: Year One had flashback Death, Year Two had Issue 1 Death, and Year Three had Eye-Patch Death on it that'd be cool.. But just the Orange seems so random..
