  1. @GreatCaesarsGhostI still have that 845.01 credit with CC prices are just all way too much for the books I want but they are going down.
  2. I know that Peter would love Ultimate Fallout 4 or a nice 3.5 Fantasy 15 over this non-Batman cover Tec 30 and 34
  3. Yes, Tax in California. I won the Marvel Mystery 2 when I had a few too many. I told my girlfriend that this book will go for around 15k. I than Bid 10k to show her and the 3 min timer went to zero and bang I won at 9,389 than the bill was 10,234.01 that's 845.01 tax I am glad now even Tho I don't collect Timley's. I bought this 5-2-2020 for little over 10k with Tax 1st link. 2nd link went for 12,330.30 ComicConnect - MARVEL MYSTERY #2 - CGC VG+: 4.5 ComicConnect - MARVEL MYSTERY #2 - CGC FA/GD: 1.5 I might make money on this one.

  8. some people made double their money that they cried about at first when they bought the book
  9. I do have a Tec 27 in fair condition that I got from E Gerber himself when I drove up there and I turned into a vg restored if that helps.
  10. wow and to think I had 5 to 6 copies in vg and my highest copy around 5.0 was unrestored till I had it restored in the early 80s and to think I kept that one
  11. NG would be good than people know it's real. I say the centerfold is worth a lot.
  12. I should be there after all I have to see my brother @MrBedrock so, he can bring my Marvel 1 that he has been holding since 2018.
  13. Clark. I will have bids that may have me saying "oops, I did it again. I will say on the upside there heading to your house also for a visit with your wins.
  14. Peter if you did not live so far, I would drive my truck over and help you.

  16. I have not sold on eBay since 2007 I think and the prices to sell were higher than and that stopped me. I now rarely buy on eBay since the Tax kicked in. I cannot stand the Tax when I buy when I sell not even worth it to me. The Tax you paid to get the book. The Tax you paid to sell the book. The fees to sell the book. The shipping. The insurance. The time you spent to get and sell the book is worth something. I would think at this point I lost 50%
  17. I never did understand myself. I loved selling all my life Batman 1 Action 1 Tec 27-31-33-35 on up. I had Superman 1 Marvel 1 all the early Timleys all the Marvel like Fantasy 15 FF 1all of the 1.s. I kept all the beat-up copies of the early books they were not worth selling and were beat. What I never understood was my draw to collect low grade beat books over high grade? I never had a collection that I wanted my collection was beat up books. I had this talk with Dave Anderson early 80s he wanted the best and I wanted the worse what's wrong with me. I never did have Anderson money I did, however. Love comics all of them Timleys little less all of them had that same look to me Cap Torch Subby Toro all except MPFW #I never had that copy and wanted it forever. I am glad I kept all my beat books had some restored because I could turn a good into a fine and get great money people did not have a dislike to restored books like they do now. I still have my Spiderman 1 that I tore in half back in the 80s when I lost a beat that I would sell it for something like $100. I brought it home glued pages back and threw it in my junk box. I still have my beat-up FF 1 2 copy's Books like FF 2 missing the pin up page #5 missing the same page. I guess my love for low grade is stronger now since low grade beat books are more expensive than ever.
