  1. Captain Aero 25, 3.0, $220 SOLD! Notice the front lower right corner, piece out. Staples well attached, centerfold secure. Nice colors despite the grade and wear.
  2. How I accept payment PayPal only. Payment is expected within 7 calendar days. My referrals Please see my forum kudos or ebay ID. How I handle returns I accept returns if you're dissatisfied for whatever reason. If the comics arrive damaged, I pay return shipping. If you just don't like them or have buyer's remorse, you pay return shipping. How I package and ship I take care to package your comics in the same manner that I want to receive them: well and with care. Typically, I use gemini mailers and a cardboard sandwich inside. Otherwise, I'll move up to USPS Priority boxes. One or two comics, I can ship First Class and save you some money. More than that, we need to use Priority Mail. I won't use Media Mail; please don't request it. Shipping is at cost: you provide an address, I weigh the package, you pay that price. Who can buy Boardies not in the Hall of Shame or Probation List can buy. There are a small number of people outside those lists who I wouldn't sell to, but they won't show up. They know who they are. What's being listed One or more LB Coles, maybe a scarce Heath, who knows. Enough to pay off my surprise ComicLink win!
  3. FWIW I will buy books from certain people who I think overgrade because they consistently overgrade and the price is right. As long as there’s consistency, I know what to expect and don’t get disappointed.
  4. Long shot here. A local lcs acquired about 5 boxes of high grade Dell Disney titles. He says they're super nice, the kind where the whites are actually white, clean spines, etc. etc. But finding any references for pricing has been tricky. Does anyone out there know of any resource to serve as pricing? OSPG is there of course, but he knows not to expect guide for these.
  5. Please check out this thread for a boardie trying to do some good in a bad situation:
  6. Once, I bought a fairly graded and fairly priced comic at my LCS. I have chills to this day.
  7. A Voldy. Significantly below FMV, so hard to complain. And a personal grail in a grade I didn't think I'd own. Now to go see what has to be sold as penance.
  8. I have some “feel good, know I’ll lose” bids out. Just living vicariously at the moment.
  9. This morning my kid mashed some Lego figurine parts together and said it was Fire Bat. Fire Bat has powers like Green Lantern but from fire, and via a sword. And while he didn't specify, I can assure you that Fire Bat does not get laid out routinely. Nice books. Great stuff for a Green Lantern run collector.
  10. On the topic of people committed to time payments continuing to make purchases, I agree with those who say that as long as the time payment schedule is being met, then whatever else goes, goes. Usually. I can think of an example--and I'm headed into heresay with this--of someone making repeated large purchases, asking for time payments after throwing the take it, and leaving a string of other people waiting on time payments. Once that becomes habitual, I think it's an issue. But it's also the kind of thing where word gets around and people will stop doing business with that person. Myself, time payments make me antsy because I want to keep buying other stuff, and I'm self-conscious about owing someone. So usually, I end up selling some stuff to make the payment early so I can keep indulging. I'm not proud of this, but at least I'm among people who can empathize. And hey, I'm not buying on credit so there's that.
  11. These have been fun to see, but man, I'd love to have gone through his boxes when these were in mylars.
  12. Oh man, I need to sleep but I also need to fill WWT gaps. You’re killing me!
  13. Got a very nice NM Captain Marvel 57 from Alex. Good transaction all around, thanks.
  14. Is this the longest sales thread we've ever had on the boards? I mean, for books listed. Maybe there's some with more threadcarping posts, but for just book count, this one has go to be near or at the top.
  15. It’s ridiculous that people must resort to these methods to address a flaw that CGC has introduced.
