  1. @The Meta More like OCD than tenacity. I appreciate the complement though.
  2. @The Metanow I just need to find the owners of the #1 third/fifth prints and #2 second print that are 9.8.
  3. Thank you Sir! @The Meta Pretty happy with the results.
  4. Another two early Aliens books added to the registry. As of now the only 9.8’s!

  6. Such a great character! I wish the movie was like the comic.
  7. I wanted to buy the last one that popped on eBay and I waited to long.
  8. Bro….! That is awesome! You got that #50 newsstand in 9.8!!!
  9. @FlyingDonutsaid it best, “Talk to your tax guy”. I am not in the comic business for profit but I am an independent contractor (1099) with an LLC. I deal with payroll, quarterly taxes, yearly estimated tax, expense reports, etc. #1. If you don’t have an accountant I suggest you get one and consult them. Especially if you plan on selling a significant amount or any high dollar books. #2. Document everything, I mean EVERYTHING! Bags, boards, grading/pressing, insurance, price paid, shipping, etc. If you haven’t been doing so I suggest you do. It might take you months to catch up but it will be worth it in the end when you decide to liquidate or sell off that big key. When dealing with taxes you need to have your “ducks in a row”. If the IRS comes for you they will attempt to get what they believe is owed to them right, wrong or indifferent.
  10. Hmmmmm….I think I might need to send an email in the near future. Thanks for the info @wombat!!!
  11. I don’t see why not? It’s still a magazine sized issue which appeals to TMNT collectors like myself. On the other side #2 second print is more of a book for completists not the person who collects major keys across various titles. Just my opinion of course.
  12. @F For FakeI jumped on CAF to check out the Aliens art. Some of the OA those people own is incredible! The cover to Aliens #2 vol 2 is gorgeous. I would love to own some Den Beauvis OA. I bet you could that stuff at pretty fair prices back in the day. Imagine owning all four covers to the 1989 series…..?
  13. @F For FakeThanks for posting those pics! I love it.
