  1. When something like this happens to me, I tell myself that the winning bidder had a max bid that was MUCH higher than mine and that it really wasn't close at all. It tends to make me feel better. No, I won it by just five dollars! Congrats! I will buy them from you for $311, hahaha.
  2. Just got lost a bid on eBay for a complete run of TMNT vol 3. I am not happy right now. Five little dollars...
  3. Took my daughter to see the TMNT movie. I have to say it wasn't that bad. Even though they didn't follow the old story line I thought it was pretty cool. I give it a thumbs up.
  4. I just love the covers of that run! Are you getting them graded or getting a raw full set? I bought #'s 29 and 30 graded (because they had Laird head sketches). But I am most likely gonna keep the rest of the issues raw with the exception of 32. I might get that graded cause I have 2 copies.
  5. Thank you! It is worth getting. Volume 4 is a fantastic run.
  6. Lucky for me George was willing to make a trade so I could complete a TMNT run. The transaction was flawless and he was great to deal with. I would definately do business with him again! Thanks buddy! P
  7. I figured they would but I would still have to pay for shipping. I think I will roll with their "error label".
  8. I just got this for a whopping $8. Based off eBay prices I think I did alright. Looks like a 9.4/9.6.
  9. That is just beautiful...brings a tear to my eye.
  10. I finally watched the trailer for the new TMNT movie. I wasn't very impressed. Were they wearing Samari armor? Anyone else feel the same? I try not to be that guy who hates every remake that comes out (Red Dawn, ).
  11. TY. Kicking myself I didn't get my Raphael slabbed. Wasn't a huge fan of the colored bandanas. TMNT will always have red bandanas to me!!! I'm kind of shocked Eastman is selling his 1st turtle sketch. Feel that may be a regrettable action later on. It's like King Arthur selling excaliber... If form follows function and the first group shot sold for about 13% of the initial asking price when it was displayed at Metdown comics, will that be the true selling price of his 1st turtle? roughyl $256,000.00? hmm... I like the red bandanas also. When I show my 6 yr old the original comics she will say, "daddy how do you tell the difference?" My reply, "the weapons the carry." Haha I am not surprised that he is selling. With all the hype why not, it is a sellers market. I am sure he is sick of looking at it. Does anyone know how much the "proof copy" of TMNT #1 first print went for? That Raph is badass!!!
