  1. I went to the Philly Comic Con Saturday and I have to say that I was a little disappointed. I have never been to a Comic Con before and I expected more back issues (other than Marvel and DC). I was on the hunt for TMNT vol 4 issues and noticed that if a seller had TMNT books they were WAAAAAY over priced. Some guy tried to sell me a #32 for $100! Another table was selling issues for at least $10 a piece and the staples were covered in rust. I did walk out of there with some other books but "goose egg" on TMNT. Maybe my expectations were too high. I will say that my experience with CGC was GREAT! I dropped off my TMNT #1 for a re-holder and another comic for grading. I have never CGCed anything before and I am positive they could see the anxiety on my face when I handed over my #1. They guy looked at me and said, "Don't worry it will be fine."
  2. Please post about our transaction. Thank you.
  3. Group shot please I don't have a group shot but I have posted a bunch of pictures in the past on this thread and TMNT #1 club. I will get one up here soon.
  4. Yep, all prints, errors, and variants. I didn't do double covers though, not really my thing. That isn't impressive, the ones in your sig line are impressive. I'm jealous.
  5. Latest purchase Thanks jterp5! Vol 1 is now complete!
  6. Was this it? http://www.amazon.com/TEENAGE-MUTANT-TURTLES-Sealed-RICHARD/dp/B007AKBSVI
  7. TMNT vol 4 #32 on sale now: http://www.miragelicensing.com/paypal/mirage04.html#vol4new
  8. TMNT vol 4 #32 is not available on the Mirage site. I thought it was suppose to be on sale today. Am I missing something?
  9. Yes! Everything about it says "buy me again! "
  10. I think the signatures were on the case not the book itself.
  11. WOW!!! Did you see the hack encapsulation job done to that TMNT?! That thing has more waves than the ocean. That said, the price is staggering considering WHO slabbed it, how it's signed on the outside of the slab....and the overall condition of the comic. I know it looked like . I heard PGX was garbage anyway.
  12. I feel the same way. Before my purchase I checked the comic price guide and $2200 was what they valued a slabbed 7.5. I felt comfortable so I didn't mind shelling out the cash. This was before they increased the value on their site. I figure I will always get back what I paid if I decide to sell.
  13. TMNT #1 first print PGX 7.5 sold for $4000. http://www.ebay.com/itm/221435877977?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Glad I got mine when I did. Do you guys think these prices will drop when the movie craze dies down? I bought my CGC 7.5 for $2200 back in Dec, this is insane.
  14. How do I get one of those? It will be available for purchase on Mirage's site on May 18. It's limited to a print run of 1,000. Also, Peter Laird just posted it for free digitally on his blog: http://peterlairdstmntblog.blogspot.com/2014/05/tmnt-volume-4-32-digital-edition.html Great! Thank you!
  15. A little over 700 total (nothing impressive) Star Wars 1977 Marvel full run of first prints TMNT vol 1 and 2 full runs to include errors and variants minus #3 NYCC variant Walking Dead full run of first prints Long box full of Dark Horse books (Terminator, Aliens, Predator, Mask, 300) I also like to collect mini series (Punisher, Wolverine, Dark Knight Returns, etc) All of these are raw with the exception of TMNT #1 first print, that is CGCed.
  16. Picked this up in Feb on Ebay. Paid $152.50 Is there still a chance off picking up an 8.0 or better #3 NYCC variant for a decent price (under $500) anymore? It is the only one I need to complete vol 1.
