I was watching Gone Girl yesterday and Afflecks performance sold me that he has the ability to play Wayne. I think he's going to be the high point of BvS.

When looking to collect all of Spidey's rogues appearances, what method did you use? There are dozens and dozens of them and most of them are under issue #20. I feel like a fair estimate is save $200-250 and get the best possible grade. This could net mid-grade appearances of Kraven, Scorpion, and Kingpin and high grade copies of Venom, Carnage, Morbius, and Hobgoblin. Obviously When it comes to issues 14 and under, it becomes so much more expensive, first appearance included or not. I must have those issues at some point as a collector, but the task seems so difficult.

The best part of this is that Batman has an infinite number of rogues by himself. They can easily support the show for a long time.

Absolutely never thought I would own this book. A bit of patience and saving goes a long way. Just arrived today from a fellow boardie.

The best bet if people like to play cautious is stick to Marvel and Batman related keys, as they have a proven track record. Tough comic book speculating bets are buying the Image comic books that get optioned by a Hollywood studio,then waiting years to see if they ever get made. I suppose if you're buying some of those Image books at 50 cents to a dollar a piece its not too hard to sit on them. Hell, you can find the Legends mini series for a $5 easy. Speculating is best served on minor books that don't have a lot of room to tank. Spend the big $$ on books you love. Speaking of Legends, don't sleep on #1, first app of Amanda Waller.

Congrats on all those X-Men's wow. Basically knocked out the Phoenix Saga in one swoop . I went to an Antique Row with 5-6 different shops today. The first shop had the best stuff and I bought these books from them. Nothing major at all, but a few sleeper picks. The pick of the day was hands down this copy of FF. Totally worth $6. Such a great cover.

Enough of this madness. As much as I love comic book movies, the amount of announcements being made is unreal. Almost every single day now. There's something announced at least once a week.

What's up with Detective Comics #566? It seems to regularly go for around $15-25 on ebay and I'm not particularly sure why. It does have a really kickass cover, but the only other thing I can see is the villain bios within the story.

Found a copy of Shazam #25 for $5. Wish it was a #28 but oh well.
