  1. Alot of hints about the future of Spider-Gwen from Jason here: http://www.newsarama.com/23690-spider-gwen-creators-celebrate-gwensday-with-release-party.html

Plus, some very sad news about Robbi Rodriguez health issues . I hope he gets better

Great article. That really is too bad about his health issue, did they mention what exactly it was he's suffering from or did I just miss it?

He was diagnosed with keratoconus, an eye disease that causes continuous damage to the corneas rendering him pretty much blind.

    Major bummer :(

  2. Consider blocking tilainamariep. Within minutes of buying a Tomb of Dracula #5 from me, I get this message:

"I apologize, I already own #5. Can you refund my payment? I apologize for any inconvenience! I didn't have my list near by of issues I own. I'm sorry!

    Tilaina Pebley"

So I asked her why she couldn't look at her "list" first before buying and cancelled the order.

    Just saw the pertaining e-mails:

    Purchased at 8:05 PM

    Paid for at 8:06 PM

Request to cancel at 8:08 PM

    meh

Apparently the list was near by.

    :roflmao:

But in all seriousness this exact same thing happened to me last week with a slabbed Witchblade book. Fun times on eBay all around!

  3. Has anyone else encountered this? Sold a book to the customer who immediately initiates a return and claims the book is counterfeit because CGC decided to slab it in a thicker case than he/she is used to.

Not a big deal but annoying. eBay user: velgor

I actually had concerns the first time I got a thicker slab due to lack of experience with them. I don't think everyone knows until they've encountered it. Just explain to them that books with a certain number of pages are encapsulated in a thicker slab and refer them to the certification verification page.

    Good call.

    +1

I went ahead and accepted the return but still a bit puzzled how this guy immediately jumped to "counterfeit" without even bothering to check the cert page. smeh

For the record the slab is a 9.8 Outcast.

  5. well i got my final Mile High invoice... 2 NM Enormous #1 Phantom variants for 25 a piece... being shipped out in next couple days... now to just hunt down issues 1 through 3... gonna be a lot of driving to all of the LCS tomorrow...

Wonder how his happened ?!? If true

I think Mile High doubled the price a day or 2 ago.

VERY typical with that lot. Same thing happened with Rat Queens, Outcast, Nailbiter, Adventures of Superman #14, etc etc etc.

They have a habit of pulling stock and resetting price much higher a day or so later.

  6. So Bee and Puppycat #7 is recalled?!

CGC doesn't recognize the Adventure Time recall, so I'm sure this will be in the same boat.

Looks like it was. The www.comicsheatingup.net guy emailed Boom and got a response back saying there was a printing error, which backs up the previous post he had saying that boom requested the books pulled and destroyed.

A new shipment of the books will be coming out shortly

I'm wondering if it's the hair color on the standard cover? It's half brown and black.
