Damn bob worked for 38 years and a few years Into retirement he finds out he has brain cancer I watched the video before I read the bio, he looked to be in good spirits. I thought he was still going through treatment. You picked a good one rich. I can't even begin to imagine what he's going through, Bob seems like a stand up guy

You wanted a chance to repair your reputation and Rich, against his better judgement, gave you that chance. And you dropped the ball. When you get a second chance jump on it without delay. All I can suggest is a sincere pm to Rich begging for one last, last, really last and only last chance. Promising to pay immediately for a similar value book to the one you failed to pay for. didn't work the first time on my part, the 2nd time I tried guess it's again on me. I'll just leave things where they are

rich doesn't even want to try to come up with any solution As someone else said a few pages ago sometimes you don't get to choose the outcome of the situation Instead a bunch of grown men would rather bully someone on the Internet. No need to bring my family into this, they have nothing to do with it. It's nice to see at least a few board members are open to coming up with a solution I'll just leave it where it is. Rich has made it clear he doesn't want to work anything out, so that's that.

That's when things went downhill He should have never even offered to sell me any books, be it Miller of this other sig book if he wasn't serious about working out a deal. He got me, the same way I got him back in 2014 Guess that makes us even All the more reason to stick to your original standing policy of NOT paying for things. So it's Rich's fault that you screwed him and he couldn't still get the same money for the book? No definitely my fault for not paying for the book I won, I own up to that. But with how hot the book was it was going for almost $500 in 9.8 I won it for around $300 You're telling me he took such a loss on a hot book? He could have listed at BIN $300 and someone would have bought it. Nobody told me how much his "loss" was but I can't believe it was a bunch Either way, I've been trying to make up for the shady transaction that happened back in 2014 He wouldn't respond until just a few weeks ago. He was willing to make a deal on high dollar books with a Miller sig on them. I found his signature thread that was more in the range of the book I had won and not paid for over a year earlier and asked him about it before I claimed the book. He said it's okay to post buy it, I did. You know the rest The only thing anyone can say is it took two weeks to recieve payment.

Last time I checked paying in full, isn't being shady He only sent one email telling me how the signings work. PayPal sent two invoice reminder After I claimed the book he never sent me anything until the email he sent to my girlfriends email. Which I gave to him in a pm on here that he sent me when he asked for my PP. he definitely knew who I was. We were doing business on the boards. This is where 99% of the messages were sent

Since he's on the PL I presume there is a specific transaction he is trying to complete? Is there a reason he cannot make good the original infraction? After that happened rich wouldn't even respond to any of my messages until the last few weeks I doubt he sold the book at a less, at the time the book was on fire and I had won it at a steal of a price. He could have easily done a 2nd chance offer or listed again and most likely got more cash. I didn't omit anything. I pled you from my original thread as I had done before. I only emailed you once from the other email. I don't buy the whole time you had no clue who I was. I even posted the proof you knew. This has nothing to do with getting off some list. I picked a book that was around the price of the other book I had won back in 2014. I tried more then once to make it right and he wouldn't even respond to my email. He only respond in the last few weeks, why he decided to now, I have no clue. He was all for it when it was his Miller books. I did post in his thread like he asked me to. Point is I PAID IN FULL People on the boards have done a lot worse. He knew who I was, he asked me to post "take it" on his thread, which I did. After I paid he asks like he had no clue who I was all along and that I was somehow trying to scam him. I sent one maybe two max from that email. The messaging was through PM on HERE He knew who I was. It took a few PMs for him to even respond to me I emailed him from the marvel team up 95 thread. Saying he had no clue who I was is a load of BS I even posted the Pms in this thread He knew who I was and was willing to do something when it was high dollar books. I found his sig thread and messaged him about that before I even claimed the book and he said to post take it in that thread which I did. Again I did t know payment in full upfront same day, now I know. He only canceled everything once I paid the money and knew I was serious. Point is he knew who I was the whole time, I paid in full. Yet somehow I'm doing something wrong and have to be up to no good. It doesn't make sense

Kind of what I was thinking. He couldn't even do that. That is the crazy thing. Just another Hustrucker. But see I did make payment. I paid in full and he denied payment I try to make up for a bad transaction, the whole time he was okay with it until I paid in full he then acted like he had no clue who I was or why I was trying to buy a book off him. Somehow by me paying in full I'm shady and up to tricks. I'm confused by that, but as someone else said you can't make someone do something they don't want to do. I more then did what I should have done after the first bad transaction. I contacted him multiple times before with no response. He finally responded to my messages we made a deal, I paid and he went back on the deal.

Well said I can stay on the list not the reason why I was trying to buy a book off him. I wanted to right my wrong. I owned up to my mistake and did what I could to do right, but as you said "we don't always get to choose the final outcome"

Here's what happend I contacted rich after over a year and tried to make things right. He knew who I was from the first message I sent him. One or two went unanswered, after he finally responded he thought I knew he had some Miller books coming back from CGC(I had no clue he had any books coming back from CGC) we sent a few messages. I told him the whole time I didn't know he had any Miller books coming back and it didn't have to be a Miller book I just wanted to make things right. I bid up a book and never paid for it that's what got me on the list to begin with. He's never wanted to even try to listen or let me do something to make up for it. This time I thought he would. After he sent me multiple messages about different books I saw he was doing I signing and claimed one of his books. I had never claimed a book where a signing is taking place so I didn't know payment was due in full up front. He sent me a message today explaining how things work. I paid him IN FULL. After that he sends me a message acting like he had no clue who I was(which he knew) and says he downstairs trust me and returned my money. I paid him in full so what's there not to trust? All I was trying to do was get one transaction completed to make up for the shady one that fell through back in 2014. He's unwilling to even try to work things out. I paid him in full and that's still shady and no good to him. It's a loosing battle If he's not willing to do anything all I can do is say is, I tried to the best of my ability to make things right with him and move on.

solid advice If you're looking for something that's going to make you money in 20 years I wouldn't look at the three you listed. I don't see them going up long term TMNT #1 will always been a sought after book

In general most of us want to see problems addressed and people come off the probation list. Unfortunately most of us see you as a habitual screw up and your attempts to get off the probation list as self serving. the biggest complaint I ask for prices and pics and don't buy every book someone offers me. That's tbe biggest complaint I get from people. I get it takes time to do all that but people shouldn't expect the person to automatically buy the book just because they scan a few pictures. I've never had an issue(besides this one) when it came to actually buying a book and had one issue with selling a book. The board was split half and half on that one. I'm listening to all the advice I've been given about the current situation I'm pretty sure I've been blocked but I'll try to see if maybe I can purchese something from him off eBay have a smooth transaction and go from there.

Coming on here and getting pissy with everyone is not going to achieve a desired result. You need to take this beef up with Rich, and Rich only. Maybe try being a bit more polite and simply ask if anyone can contact him for you, and try and resolve it through a P.M. Come around here with an attitude, and your not going to get a warm a fuzzy feeling. Dude look at the way everyone started attacking me when I said I sent him a few messages and got no reply It's the same handful of people everytime I've met a lot of really cool people on the boards But the few that attack people when they feel like it aren't people I want to associate with I try to do what everyone says I need to do and I get ganged up on

The book hasn't gone up that much since I won it on eBay like I said the book doesn't even matter I'm definitely not paying him $300 and getting nothing in return not even close to what the deal was I won the book for a cheap price If he still has the book he got the better end of the deal by not hearing my side of things and was able to keep it I don't care about the book I just want to do what needs to be done to get off the list
