  1. Maybe, but it's definitely worth it. That's one crazy cover I know #2 is hard to find so I didn't mind paying up for it
  2. The crime patrol 15 is in nice shape 5.0-6.0 Buyer on eBay bid me up last second on the weird chills 2 Couldn't pass it up
  3. kind of bummed I missed out on the copy that sold on eBay a few days ago. Looked solid ....that's a sweet copy..........wow........... GOD BLESS.... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) The nicest of the three I got today Seller had a lot of higher grade precode crime books I missed out on a few MAN! That is one bad copy. Holy Moly The way those 3 wiseguys are drawn seems like they may have been Atlas bullpen artists. Didn't someone post a staff picture a while back? not sure Just know it's in nice shape. Hopefully it will grade high
  4. ....that's a sweet copy..........wow........... GOD BLESS.... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) The nicest of the three I got today Seller had a lot of higher grade precode crime books I missed out on a few
  5. One of the few comics I've seen that has a full color back
  6. Right after the code was established Hard to find
  7. that fight against crime 20 and lawbreakers suspenstories are money Trying to get a few of the others before I go after them
  8. Crime comics have always been the poor step child to their pre-code horror brothers. I have always loved them and have a pretty large collection of them.Other than a few of them with great contents or classic covers, they are fairly reasonable price wise. Ebay or dealer's websites like Bedrock's, Jim Payette and others are good sources. The real good ones in nice shape you will have to battle it out in an auction for though. I got the war against crime 1 for a good price I've noticed as you said on certain covers people bid you up. I think crime comics are starting to heat up. There's a lot of sweet covers Fight against crime after issue 6 mixed crime & horror. Those are the books I'm trying to get in higher grade
  9. Decided I'm going to focus on fight against crime There's a ton of amazing covers and they're not all that expensive to get. Trying to find higher grade 6.0+ is going to be difficult
  10. Best place to buy crime comics? eBay has a decent selection but la king in the bigger keys and more obscure titles
  11. I'd say more than some. Nice group shot. I need that underworld crime and crime does not pay
  12. Damn I knew I should have set my max bid higher Passed out and was outbid, woke up 2 minutes to late Someone got this for a steal only $111 looks to be in really nice shape
  13. And I should add since it's kind of fun...my dad handed me his comics from the 40's and 50's about 10 years ago. I set off to sell them and wouldn't ya know I got the fever. Of all the books in this pic, only one was my dad's originally. But it's my favorite and will go to the grave with me. my grandma sold my dads old GI joes and original 70's fender stratocaster What book is the one he gave you?
  14. Two great crime books, congrats! I'd think twice before selling that WAC 1, it's a sweet copy! I know and it's hard to find in higher grades. It's the 3rd highest graded. I already have a guy that says he wants to buy it There are so many books I'd like to get
