Almost $3k for a Mister Mystery 12 1.5? I know it was nice for the grade but wow. I was in for awhile but I’m obviously getting priced out of some classic PCH’s

Love the Vault. If I didn’t blow the budget on a CofChills 19 in the ComicLink auction I would’ve taken it long ago!

Now, that's a classic "devil" of a cover for you to be picking up here.
Looks like you managed to get it at a more reasonable price point as compared to the less classic Suspense 10 which also topped out at over $4K.
Thanks! I am definitely happy to be bringing this LB Cole home

Wonder if someone is going to gamble and remove the CT and put in a blue holder. If it retains the 4.0 or even a 3.5, big win.
That was my thinking...if I would've been lucky enough to get the book, I would've eventually sent it in to Matt at CCS to see if it's possible to remove the CT. I was also thinking the book would go in the 4500-5000 range. Not even close

I'm never going to get a Captain America #74 - http://www.comiclink.com/Auctions/item.asp?back=%2FComicTrack%2FAuctions%2Fbids%2Easp&id=1272013
My max bid was $50 under the winning bid. I'm hoping it wasn't really that close and that their max was much higher. Ugh. I would have felt better if it ended up in the 8's or 9's...
I was in on it as well, but didn't make it close to the hammer price. Honestly, the book wasn't even on my radar until I saw it up for auction. I don't remember ever seeing one so I had to jump in.
