  1. Hi Everyone - just listing 1 book today. Hoping to let this go to a good home. Rules: No HOS or Probationary members please. First whether in the thread or PM takes the book(s). Timestamp rules all. Shipping: I will ship US free, via USPS priority shipping with signature confirmation. All foreign buyers will pay the difference in shipping. Returns: Allowed, but you must alert me within 5 days of receipt. Buyer pays return shipping via USPS priority if not satisfied with the book. For damaged goods, I will pay the return shipping. Payment Method: Paypal (preferred), check or MO Flash 105 4.0 (CrOW): Would've graded much higher but a scratch on back keeps the grade down. Great book. Colors really pop. $1900 OBO
  2. Not a great picture and am waiting to get my hands on it, but picked this up this week. Would love to find a Tales of Terror Annual 1, but I'm not holding out hope
  3. Man, that book is always super competitive. Some nice pre-codes in this auction!
  4. Very nice haul. I went after the #43 Fantucchio, but wound up losing out. Went for a verrrry strong price, but given it's pedigree and history of sales within it, I wasn't all that surprised.
  5. I am in the (almost) exact same boat. I remember going to our local dime store buying all the 86 Topps Baseball cards I could get my hands on when I saw a box of 1986 Fleer Basketball on the bottom shelf on sale for $0.10/pack. I clearly remember saying "who buys basketball cards??". UGH. I will never, ever forget that.
  6. Bob Storms has a very nice Tales of Suspense #50 8.0 listed
  7. Hey Jeff - I bought a nice copy of Hulk 182 from them several months ago. Great guys and very easy to work with. PM me and I can shoot you more details if you need.
  8. Picked up this copy of #105 recently. I'm not a huge fan of the page quality, but I couldn't resist the brightness and crisp colors on the cover for the grade.
  9. Hard to find this book without that right edge top to bottom miscut as well. That drives my OCD crazy!
  10. I've heard you can expect 10-15% lower prices from a Voldy slab. I have no facts to present...that's just what I've heard from some dealers. That was about a year ago, so I don't know if much has changed. I will say I sent 2 CGC graded early Hulk's to Voldy to be regraded and my grades came back lower (1/2 point and 1 full point lower on the two books I sent in). For a mid-grade book, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a Voldy slab. If I were purchasing a high grade (9.0+), I would go with CGC. Just a personal preference at this point in time. I would never go with PGX.
  11. Definitely! 121/122 were my first *big* comic purchases. I think it was 1988? I paid $20 for each which was a lot of money to me then!
  12. Is it ever! Beautiful book. And amazingspiderfan...killer 14!
  13. What a run Straw-Man! Just beautiful books Here is my latest upgrade. Would love to have #14 in the same grade one of these days...
