That what I thought.

It has the infamous DC 30 cent ring around it

(50 cent for specials)

I had a theatre give a whole box of those ASM 129 reprints

I gave them away here on the boards and as halloween treats for the kids.

Love those picture frames

No Doubt, it seems like Gil Kane did a good portion of them

and I have always been a huge fan of his impressive anatomys.

currently the oldest comic in my collection

and probably will be hailed as the "most racist".

Note: the way the black man is portrayed in

issue inside.

If that were printed today, Jesse Jackson's head would split open

and a little alien would fly out of it.

When I saw this book out of the CGC box I was floored. I thought that this book was a 9.0 at best and it still has me amazed!

In fact I want to pick up reader copies for a large portion of the run so when I have a couple of days off in a row I will sit back and read them strait through. When you dont see me on the boards for a couple of days you will know what I am doing

so the question is, have you read all the books that you are snagging as 9.8's??

It would be a shame if you didn't have readers of some of these -

there are some great reads that you have in your collection.

One of the things that I would do when ever I bought a HG Spidey-

is snag a reader, reprint or just read it off of the PDF collection that

I own. To be as close to breaking it open and reading it.

All those sweet 9.8's are truly Uncanny...
