anybody ever figure out who wahoofury was?
I don't know about "wahoofury", but the guy that originated this thread
"Crusty" is a Renigging POS.
I had a nice SA ASM that I won at the begining of the year that I got a good deal on
and it was obvious he wanted more for the book...
I even offered him more as a tip to good ahead and send the book, but nope
no dice and he was a jerk about it too.
It gave me great pleasure in servicing him with a big fat e-Bay negative!
If we ever come up with the infamous "Don't Buy From" list
he would honored on the top of the slop pile!

Just came back from sunny Sarasota.
NOW we're talkin'
The Parade of Lame Villains!!!!
This storyline always cracked me up -- in a good way. It ran X-Men 22-23, right?
And Marvel wondered why the original X-Men didn't get no respect.
Jack
Hey don't mess with the Porcupine!

Finally was able to obtain one of my favorite books and add to my run....ASM annual #1.
Dang G! Everytime I turn around you got a new pretty spidey!
You should have a HG full run in no time...
You must have bookoo bucks to snaggin them up this fast!
i wish....just buyin and sellin/tradin as best i can....but the run is now from #10 through #40 in cgc 8.0 to 9.4...missing a few in the 40s and a #50 to get 10-50 and then need a #9 for #8-50 eventually!
You must be my Doppelganger!
I have a 53 - present HG ASM run (only a few of those are CGC'ed though)...
All of the ones I have been buying now AF#15 - ASM 52 will be CGC'ed though.
I have about 40 left before I'm done.
But those are the big boys $200 and up books.

I was more impressed when you weren't in the photo. Now the illusion has been broken of what you look like
Heck the photo that Ian is in someone should photoshop a talk bubble that says
"Kneal before ZOD!"

Good Grief!
And I thought I was a litle over the top with about 4k comics...

Back in 1979, I had a chance to get a NM copy of Amazing Fantasy #15 for $200 bucks
But my old man wouldn't let me (sob!)
His exact words were there is noway in hell you going to spend that for a comic book
I don't care if it is your money or not! He literally had to drag me away from that deal...
One day when he's old and grey and needs a place to stay,
I'll be pointing to the rest home!
You sure we're not related?
shoot, I couldn't hit my old man up for no loot... period.
If you even mechioned "borrow" around him - his backside would tighten up like a snaredrum.
He wouldn't even let me spend my OWN money - never the less his.
If your dad is this tight them maybe we are related.

Not the musty kind, but I like the smell of old comics...
I went to a Con this weekend and I was over an old couple of boxes and Man!
that old smell of old ink and paper sent me way back in the old days of going to
the Flea Market and dreaming of having the nice books I have today.
-
I was thinking of sealing it in an air tight box with a bunch of cedar blocks for about a month... perhaps the cedar will absorb the remaining musty smell and leave it cedar fresh. If I do my experiment, I will report back.
Try clay-based kitty litter.
Make sure the comic is protected (cardboard between it and the litter, bagged but open, and then seal it in a box with the kitty litter.
that sounds like a pretty Fresh Step to me!
Joe you must of been one Tidy Cat to pull that off!
This week in your collection?
