  1. I think that probably does make a big difference for Bulletproof. However, bars have been doing games for decades with trivia nights.
  2. It looks like you have the black & white virgin variant. The pencil sketch virgin is the presumed 1:100. There are 5 covers total.
  3. Half of the footprint of Kenmore's store if gaming, ha.
  4. York's Comics & Cards. https://www.facebook.com/York-Comics-Cards-120135241332644/
  5. Do most metropolitan areas not have bars that have board games now? The problem with mixing any of those things is that you have to be sure it's going to work. A liquor license is a very expensive venture. It's not like opening a Diamond account. Look up Bulletproof Comic in NYC. They have all types of late night gaming but they are also in one of the most densely populated areas in the country with good public transportation to get people around. https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Collectibles-Store/Bulletproof-Comics-Inc-118048081555688/
  6. It appears the pizza place also has fried chicken. Are the comics in the same space? Anything cooked, roasted, heated, etc...should not be mixed with collectibles. Cigars are popular again. Any cigar and comic shops opening soon?
  7. Titans is a TV show on the new DC Universe platform.
  8. I don't disagree. Thing is it was the same comic around the same time and being shipped to different people.
  9. York's Comics? That closed years ago. You must have missed it. He brought out all his back stock. (Why was it not out in the first place?) Pulled about 3/4 of a longbox of stuff for $1 each.
  10. Restaurants close all the time too. But then new ones open. It's a matter of supply and demand mixed with quality and management. Some of these shops I wonder how they stay in business. They keep their back issues in the back where they are not accessible and the owners are inappropriate, weird and/or rude. So, when are these closing sales...
  11. Congrats on the sale. That's one I would never be able to wrap my head around.
  12. #650 is selling for $25-30 in high grade. Before the movie rumor it would sell for $15 if you could get a bite. Remember the last Spider-Man movie the Iron Spider Suit jumped. There were a couple. The Future Foundation suit is the white one. Great cover on #658. Also have the MK II suit in between, #656.
  13. I had to check in 648 and now it's going to take a while to recover from Ramos art.
  14. Think Tank, Darkness and Thief of Thieves had already been in development. In fact, so long that apparently the rights to them have expired. This does not say that there are any TV agreements associated with any channel however. So, I don't expect much from any. Nailbiter on the other hand has been at the top of my list as a good adaption.
  15. You realize you are replying to a four year old comment, correct?
  16. Again, assuming I'm reading the data correctly, approximately half (little more) of the 9.8's have been graded in the last 3 years. With zero coming in above a 9.8. So, roughly the other 50% that were previously graded at 9.8 or higher, 32 came back 9.9 and 10 a perfect 10.
  17. If I'm interpreting Valiantman's website correctly, in the past 3 years there have been no 9.9's or 10's but 1,739 9.8's. What blob said is correct given those numbers. http://cgcdata.com/cgc/search/title/:lethal:protector:/issue/1/label/all/orderby/alphabetical/census/181009/censusprior/151006/
  18. Looks like we may finally get some of the other characters people have been hoping for since the first movie.
  19. Can't believe this guy is still making movies. No, but Photon's 1st app. went up because of a name on the side of a jet.
  20. Like some on here mention, how are we going to know what is being "hyped" now?
  21. Yes, if it gets damaged in the possession of CGC. If they somehow damage it, they will call and ask what you want to do. Meaning, do you want the $200 insurance you claimed on the submittal form. You are not paying the shipping company the insurance coverage fee so why would they care?
  22. There hasn't been an uptick on this issue though and CGC does not have a label designation for it. But, there is a regular version listed for $750. So, yes, this was a premium buy based on the Canadian price.
