    Trying to rationalize why people pay what they do for comics will drive you crazy. in regards to prices for new comics, this is common. Every couple months there is a book look this.

    It was originally optioned by Sony. They may have had something that could have been transferred to the new company. Maybe not. Either way, it was optioned before by a lot bigger company and didn't go anywhere.

    There was a 9.6 that sold for $1,015 on June 1. Last 9.8 sold on eBay was April 26 for $1,725.
