You could've set up a BIN with that Buyer for the final auction price and let him purchase that way (after you found the pages).

Exactly. You shouldnt fret about price until you are a seller (i.e., when you start withdrawing). Until then, you are a net buyer/accumulator.

I agree. When I make non material typos, I don't check the box. If there was something meaningful or that could cause confusion, I check it to clarify.

The mark as edited box. When you edit your post you have the option to make it known that you edited, or you can uncheck that box and make those edits without telling the world.

The business of selling comics is one of the only businesses in the world that I know of that gives interest free loans, indefinitely, with no pre-approval almost across the board. Whether it's time payments or lay away on new comics, it's crazy when you think about it. And that is likely because there is a high level of trust among customers, but if you're running a thin margin business it can be scary as soon as a few people don't pay up. Not really loans, though.

Not telling, but if $50 doesn't it win it, I'll be surprised.
