  1. Pleasure to purchase from Kelly. Thanks!
  2. Was there a time limit on when payment in full was due and if so, had it expired before payment in full was made?
  3. I did consider that but I heard it's tough to get work out there but the extra money would help out. North Dakota
  4. Shhh. Then all 500 Canadians will be down here. Pretty soon we're eating round bacon, and using a heck of a lot more Us where Us shouldn't be.
  5. That seems fair. The sales thread said 48 hours to receive payment. However the seller pulled the accepted offer after less than 24 hours after requesting PayPal info. That seems unfair, and a violation.
  6. Same day. Well, maybe 1-3 days unless other arrangements were made in advance.
  7. Will be posting two Daredevil 1s next week. Low grade slabs but nice presenters (at least they were when I sent them). 1.5 (CROW) and a 3.5 (W/OW).
  8. This should clear things up for you to follow along. This seems to have been lost in the mix. If the seller didn't agree to sell it to you, ( and give you his paypal information, and take your payment, all earmarks of the elusive and rare "deal").....then why would he send this message to you... This message to you would/should eliminate doubt as to what the seller was thinking as to whether this was a deal or not. Can he have a deal if he already sold the book? Maybe ask the seller. he's the one convinced he's got to make it up to Junk. Why should we assume that the seller knew he was communicating via PM. He could have taken Ambien and was sleep selling.
  9. Not saying conspiracy either. Just saying at the point he said show me the $, and Junkdrawer showed it, there was a deal.
  10. Seller makes inventory error and we want revenge? Nope. I agree it's not really worthy of any HOS or PL. I just disagree w/your contrarian view of the transaction.
  11. And that (told to resend $) is when the deal was consummated
  12. We don't know that. I print labels from PayPal. I select "payments received" and print the label. It does not mean that some randomn payment that had a label printed is my acceptance of a deal. And then for all those times where you printed despite having a deal, you're out the postage? Or do you wait for a refund from USPS?
  13. See where you're coming from, sort of. But, printing a label is not due diligence. It's a step in furtherance of completing a transaction.
  14. I would think that is especially the time to buy something from that dealer Not required, but a nice gesture in that instance.
  15. Do we need to enforce rules in the name of clarity? Not following. I get that you don't like rules and I agree to a point, but when a rule such as the return policy (i.e., simply stating whether or not you accept returns) provides clarity w/out any additional burden on the Seller (other than the 2.5 seconds to type it out), then the rule is ok by me
  16. Is the return policy that burdensome? The intent was to provide clarity in transactions, much like stating what payment options are acceptable.
  17. What about identity theft, card skimmers, etc. are those victims greedy?
  18. If you mean greed on the part of the scammer, then of course. If you are implying that only greedy people get scammed, you are 100% wtong
  19. Did the guy reach out to your friend through a reply to your friend's Craigslist ad? If so, I've had a similar experience - only it was with a Tec 38.
