Make it retro. I'd like to see 70's Blade, not 90's not 2000's.

Maybe try reloading the firmware Worked for me. I just bought one from the same ebay seller that was linked a couple of posts up. Not a great packaging job, but the scanner arrived quickly. Had to use a PC laptop to download the HP firmware update and then reload that onto the scanner. Then purchased VueScan as I'm using a Macbook pro running Mavericks.
Works like a charm now.

I thought it was fresh, relevant and funny, Hector. What do you know anyhow?

Is Amazon.com down?

I tried offering something other than Spiderman books but it took offering up a couple to get off the hot seat.
Offers were top notch. I would've grabbed the Preacher TPBs but didn't want to be that guy who took a day to post the new offer.

Investors? Possibly you!

HoLeeFuk, dude. No plausible deniability.
Seriously? You obviously deleted it.
Classy! I look forward to your next attempt at making money off of the generosity of others.Way to be an a-hole then!…wait a second…I never posted that!
Jeez people…I'm breaking from this thread…seriously.

2) Apparently Meeklo wasn't really concerned about that. It's been discussed ad nauseam. From a reasonable person standpoint, it was clear that 1Cool was going to use a veto after discussions in PM. Meeklo essentially tried to trump being fired by quitting.
Yeah...except that's not what happened and most people on here see it now. Every time you re-iterate what you think happened, you shoot yourself in the foot.
I'm done explaining it over again. Like Hector said, we need to stop arguing about this.
If you want to moderate, then listen to everyone's POV. Otherwise you have chaos. You never once PM'd me and allow me to explain what I did...you just made assumptions. That's not how you moderate a thread.

Sorry, was stating that ordered liberty sounds on its face to be an oxymoron. But left to our own devices, things fall apart. Hence order is necessary. This thread is set up as take and then give. Not give and then give. As such, there needs to be some rules and some enforcement.

It's like ordered liberty. Sounds oxymoronic or incongruous, but it actually works.

I could never see past the boy's selfishness. And I'm an optimist by nature and 100% agree that giving is waaay better than receiving. But damn, Shel, couldn't you have had a least one apple fall on that punk's head? Eff that kid.

Welcome, Mark. You didn't miss much!

+1 I put up what I thought was a solid offer, then added to it 24 hours later. It took some effort on the keyboard, but it all worked out.Tough crowd no one wants my stuff .Don't get down on yourself. Your second offers were good offers but maybe someone is not looking for those books right now. When I was in the hot seat I was going to keep adding offers every 12 hours or so and someone will eventually see something they want. Have fun.

. Hellacool. No jerks here, Hector. OP, it's a great score. Believe it or not,the Iron Man 100 would have been my first grab. Hoard book for me.Starlin cover

Ugh, ice in single malt. It's like cooking a steak beyond medium rare.
