Creator file copies have many values as have been stated. Frankly, it all depends on the bidder. How much do they want a certain creator's book? Like anything, pay what ever you feel comfortable with.
I have always liked them. Pieces of history of creators I admire. Having a book that was owned by certain folks bring me closer to them. Rather than seeking them out, I have bought mine as the opportunity presented it's self. I feel the same way to a lessor degree owning books from famous collectors. Just nice to have them in the collection.

Random pick up for me today. Don’t know much about this run other than uk published and only 2 CGC copies of this issue. This one and a 8.5. Might of overpaid cuz I don’t know it’s value just that it had a Zombie #1 cover art and still was published in the 1970’s. So super impulse purchase.

I too had a CC delivery this week, also Jon Berk related. Very happy to finally have in hand my first Larson copy, Wonderworld 10. Has a very clean "Lamont" written across the front. One of the nicest 1.8s I've seen, only major issues are has coupon cut on back and a piece replaced bottom spine, otherwise stunning.
