Thanks for looking! **Please note I typically ship 1 day a week on Saturdays**
  4. Well, now sans the pictures, true, he's conveniently found a way to continue the debate. He waits until he is added to the list, before commenting on deleting pictures? He's been on the boards following all this. There's simple questions that could still be answered, when were pics taken, when was the last time he physically saw the book, and where? Was it lost in his house? How does that happen? I just don't like the the precedent that if someone has seller's remorse for underpricing a book they can just give a refund, make up all sorts of excuses and go on thier merry way. I know some people here would in fact, if pics existing be on the lookout for the book in question.
  5. FYI The serial number is known. A fast acting boardie was able to snag a angled pic of the BC before it was deleted from the thread. We want those images so we can look out to see if the book surfaces elsewhere. We know books can be cracked out. IMO what the seller is doing now claiming lost/deleted pictures is even more egregious in my mind. I've sold to him 2x as well with no issue but if you look at the timeline and scant responses\excuses(lost, refund, sorry, deleted pictures) I have serious issues with this fella's integrity. Bottom line for me in following this from day 1, I don't believe him and still support him being on the list.
  6. 3.0 - 3.5 at best in my opinion. Please try and buy graded CGC books if you are new to collecting. You can also google comparable CGC books for sale or that have been sold and look closely at defects before pulling the trigger on a raw.... You still need to be careful about resto on raws.
  7. Wanted to share this recent pick-up with the FH crew. Pretty stoked to have it.
  8. My 2 pickups from the auction. I really wanted the Pep 17 too but couldn’t pull it off..
  9. Baby steps... In all honesty I think what is being put forth in this nomination by the wronged party is reasonable and goes further than most others I have seen where if a refund was made, case was closed. I wholeheartedly agree with your sentiments though.
  10. Those book are beautiful however where does "Pink" PG sit on the spectrum? Don't think I've seen that before. Is it a +/- on a book?
  11. @crassus Thoughts on adding seller until he produces those pictures?
  12. Agree however the seller purposefully removed pictures of the book from his sales thread after the fact. It has been requested that for the sake of transparency he post those pictures which he obviously still has here so the community can be on the look-out for this book regardless if it's in his posession or turns up for sale elsewhere. IMO failure to meet that simple request should get him added to the PL.
  13. I will say that if the seller continues to be silent on the request to produce clear pictures of the book which he has I’d totally support for him being on the PL. Not posting them speaks volumes.
  14. I agree, he won't get on the PL for this however there will be a record of an issue that they buyer perceived to be PL worthy. The seller was asked in the GD thread when pics were taken, why were pics removed etc.. None of this was answered. Not saying that he couldn't have taken the picture months ago however IMO it's doubtful. I'd love to know how someone loses a slab in thier house shortly after posting on these boards for sale. Everyone is entitled to think what they will however IMO seller priced book too low, it was taken by a boardie quickly, seller realized price was out of whack with market, seller "lost" book. Agree, if refunded he probably will not get on the PL, however in good faith the seller as someone mentioned above should post clear pics of of the front and back of comic in the slab for transparency. If I lost a slab I'd come right to these boards with pics asking the community to be on the look out.
  15. Considering that in June a 3.5 sold for $575 and a 4.5 for $750 looks like it was priced too low.... Not saying that excuses anything but another piece to the puzzle. You were just too fast on the draw
  16. Wow. Never saw this one before, so cool. Nice pick-up Adam!
  17. How would it work in this most recent case that looked like a seller had regret for listing a book well below FMV pulled the book after is was claimed and refunded the $$$ claiming the book was "lost"? It was also alluded to that he did this or something similar on 2 other occassions. Even though $$ was refunded my personal opinion is that this is PL worthy. IMO we have quite of few people who wouldn't necessarily make the PL based on the current interpretation of the rules but really should be on some "list" @Columbia Comics Based on the above if it were me I'd go ahead and nominate him so there's a full record and it doesn't get buried in this GD thread. (follow the rules and tell him you're nominating him, 30 days does not appy as he voided the sale already) . I would totally support the nomination. I've sold to him 2x and given good deals, however if I'd known he pulls this BS no way would I sell to him. It also irks me he's taking free items from @Point Five thread in the mixed forum....
