  1. Hit scheduled for grading today 11/14, both subs....
  2. I would be careful as you would have to exchange some type of contact info with the potential buyer via ebays messaging service. I think they can and will look at your messages if they suspect something. If they see a email or phone you will probably be done for.
  3. Good input and advice from everyone. Question I have for the peanut gallery, do you think this book as it sits is a 3.0? The more I think about this I'm becoming adverse to cracking out and having pressed. @Bomber-Bob is right about the risk of something potentially going wrong. Either way for a $40 investment and if the owner does not intend to keep might just be best to sell as is. There are plenty out there who continue to pony up for the grade and not the book.
  4. Anyone else having issues the last couple of days with seeing pictures/scans? Seems many are just loading with a "?" and no image. I recall a while back I had an issue viewing on my iPad but that seemed to ultimately resolve itself. I'm now getting an inordinate amount of image load fails on both laptop and iPad. Thanks
  5. Man, that is a super submission. Congrations on that set of books!
  6. I agree, somthing looks wonky and is evident in looking at the pre-post spine on the FC. A little surprised that the extent of that roll may have been a result of the slabbing. It's a great book as is, but I'd get that sucker out and correct the alignment with a nice press.
  7. Please make a youtube video of your call with eBay, please!!
  8. Digging the covers on this title, never heard of it before, very cool!
  9. Found something for DC. http://hoknescomics.com/dceveryyear.htm
  10. This is a little older(2013) and only deals with Marvel. You can look by year. Not sure if these would still stand today. http://investcomics.com/features/most-valuable-marvel-comics-published-each-year-golden-atomic-silver-bronze-copper-ages
  11. Man, Cal really leaves his mark on this place. Cal - Who is still here after he is long gone.
  12. CAK = CopperAgeKids. He has won the eBay best shipping award multiple years in a row. eBay gave him free 6 months worth of shipping as an award.
  13. How do you ship, CAL? Is it safe? Are we talking CAK level of safety?
  14. Cal - I'm confused reading your description on your ebay listings. (Aside from the novel of rules and regs that you have.) It appears you charge a 25% restocking fee if the buyer disagrees with the grade and returns, but will take all returns and only charge a 20% restocking fee? Is that correct? 12) Grading disagreement is NOT enough for "not as described". If you disagree with Grade and return the comic books, we will charge that 25% Restock Fee. If we miss something( a page missing, something MAJOR), that is a different story, we will refund 100%, but not for a 1/32" crease on the bottom staple that was not mentioned in description. RETURN POLICY: We honor all returns, however, we charge a 20% RESTOCK FEE no Exceptions!
  15. Wait, if I'm not mistaken, didn't this guy predict the last superbowl score correctly in advance? Cal - Who is nostradamus?
  16. Starting a thread in CG for a buyer who wants to cancel $40 worth of orders, really? There is a thread for that already, which you should know about being here since '02. Cal - Who is an attention seeking man-baby?
