If TeeDub gets his money back direct from PayPal, should not the seller still be put up on the PL or does the return of money by PayPal get the seller off the hook? I'd still put him on the PL as he did nothing by his own volition to remediate. I get the whole timeline thing, i.e. 30 days has not passed and notice not sent for PL nomination so just speculating here.

Yup, he stole/scammed a 9.6 X-men 94 from a boardie not long and listed the item on eBay after filing a chargeback for item not received. Boardie got his $$ back after an investigation but surprised he has not been removed from eBay permanently.

Well I'm upset. Not sure if anyone watches ETA Nick on YouTube, I occasionally watch his videos. He had a first live auction last month and someone snagged a really nice HOS 92 8.5 for $1200. Seems like a steal. Wish I was bidding, but had not visited his channel in a while.

It's the rarity of the $.35 variants, they were only available in certain test markets. There is one copy on the census higher at 8.5 which sold for close to $5500 in may of this year. Not many in the census so for completists of the price variant run, copies are scarce. A buyer will come along eventually, maybe not at 5k but I bet he gets close to it. Don't forget, people that collect these(including myself) are a bit nuts. There's a thread dedicated to it here on the boards:
