  1. I'd say 7-10k at auction with an upside... it's ALL Perez too! Nice piece..
  2. Just added a new Kirby Captain America splash page. All about the Kirby Crackle in this one! Check it out! Thanks! http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1468265
  3. This... burned into my brain since my child hood... http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1231920
  4. Ahh missed that part totally. Maybe the new price is adjusted for inflation ?
  5. I thought the pricing was absolutely absurd until I saw this (and there are a few others) on Heritage. Is this the type of quality you would get? https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/jim-lee-x-men-triptych-part-c-commission-illustration-original-art-2008-/a/7139-92121.s?ic4=GalleryView-ShortDescription-071515
  6. Since we are on the topic of first appearances.. this Kirby page features the first apperance of Hercules and first panel appearance of Zeus. From 1963. https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/jack-kirby-and-vince-colletta-journey-into-mystery-annual-1-story-page-13-thor-and-hercules-original-art-marvel-/a/7187-93147.s?ic4=GalleryView-ShortDescription-071515
  7. Also grabbed this early Sin City: Big Fat Kill splash of Miho in action. This was my favorite issue of the mini series! Thanks for looking! http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1465348
  8. Just got my Spawn 95 cover in the mail today. Check it out! http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1465319 Thanks for looking!
  9. Oh really? I dont visit his website much. Do you recall what the asking prices were? Thanks!
  10. So the request feature was broken on the piece I wanted. Luckily I was able to find their email address and I got a quick response back from Jamie. I agree on the prices for the Batman stuff but Spawn 32 cover for 6k? Or the Spawn 95 cover for 8k? I grabbed the Spawn 95 cover since it was the last left but thought they were slightly under priced. Both inked by McFarlane. RickyB
  11. That would be unfortunate but I don't get why? What would you have preferred I done? Return you the piece? I don't usually attempt to return art I have purchased. Also, there is a potential I will lose money when it's auctioned so why should it matter? Besides - there are times you purchase art online and when you get it in hand it looks different. Always like dealing with you Mitch but don't understand what the hard feelings would be? RickyB
  12. Gone - upgraded to a better splash from Big Fat Kill #2. One of my favourite issues.
  13. Tried putting in a request.. do you get like a confirmation email when you complete the request? I just get a message saying cart is empty after pressing "Send Request" RickyB
  14. This piece sold at comiclink at around a year ago. Wonder why the quick change of heart. It's a nice splash.
  15. Picked up this Miho splash from Sin City by Frank Miller Deadly little Miho ❤️ http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1462150
  16. Sorry guys it is the stat cover. I should have looked closer! I was talking to a person at Heritage and he called this a "monster" auction with lots of material. Will be interesting to see what else pops up.
  17. Neal Adams GA 76 cover coming back to the auction block as well. Seems like a monster auction. Wonder why so much selling?
  18. Beautiful piece. I saw a Wolverine commission as well. Are these those 15k commissions? ?
  19. And added my first Kirby Sinnot page! Check it out: http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1461570
  20. New addition to my collection is a cover recreation done by Herb Trimpe. He did most recreations on small paper but this was done on a full size 11 x 17 board. The logos and lettering are also all hand drawn. Thanks for looking! http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1461449
  21. Thanks Mike! Your buddy Mike thought about it long and hard before selling it. I think Black Panther is one Jack Kirby creation that hasn't got its due, until now. Going forward I can see him up there with Thor, Cap and FF. He also didn't do much BP art which makes this piece a little more special. There was a BP cover that just auctioned at comiclink for 20k. I heard back in 2009-2010 that cover didn't even hit a reserve price of 9500. Long time ago but I thought it was a weaker cover (it was Kirbys last on the run). And that sale is what mainly drove me to seal the deal on this beauty.
  22. Thanks for the awesome comments everyone! And I really like the last comments made about Jack. Never meet him but in his videos he does seems really humble and peaceful. And to be creating black super heroes during those turbulent times is just a show of how far ahead he was even in his own time. Just a great overall human being. RickyB
  23. Nice one sentence to sum up 8 pages of posts? I think you are on the right track but a few points. Should add historical importance ( seems like that is a big driver in price) and as JJ mentioened where does nostalgia land? I also think the order should have artist should go before character? But pretty good break down Ankur!
