Can't imagine the stress this would have caused if it happened to me ... I get nervous just selling a $500 book.  Very glad to hear Paypal is allocating the money where is should rightfully be.

So if the scammer weren't an idjit and listed it on eBay, would Paypal still rule in OP's favor?  If not what would have been the next course of action?  Contact USPS for the signature and hope the packaged was insured for the whole amount?

Never thought I would find one in the wild especially at this particular store. Found earlier issue in the dollar bin when I first got there but figured I would find #13 because everything else was competitively priced. Was pretty beat up in the dollar box and the owner ended up giving this and the other two dollar books for free since I spend so much on other back issues.

Am I the only one that will be thoroughly disappointed if the next Batman movie isn't a Red Hood story?

Never read the books other than what I've heard of it from the by n by here and there. Didn't know what the hell was going on through the entire pilot. Also have a friend in the same boat that told me the same exact thing. I'm sticking with this since I'm such a comic book fan, but I don't think the average watcher will unless the show continues (?) to receive critical acclaim.

Nothing to do with the new movie coming out, but did anybody ever watch the animated Dr. Strange movie?

I haven't been a fan of a lot of animated Marvel efforts other than Big Hero 6 and Hulk Vs.

Well worth the $4, I recommend it. All other marvel animated movies are imo garbage, but I thought Doc Strange was actually good.

RIP Laurel Lance, I can't believe she was the one they decided to kill off this season. I know she was pretty polarizing but i thought she finally started to hit her stride as Black Canary this season.

I'm glad they did something drastic, the show was getting stale. I though David Ramsey's performance was great.

Pissed beyond words like many are. Season was an entire build up and cliffhanger just to get to this moment and they decide to drag it off into an entirely new season. If the whole stupid Glenn dumpster fiasco wasn't so bad, maybe this wouldn't feel like a total insult to the fans but who knows. They could have still revealed who got Lucille and left the season as a cliffhanger.

I'm also not sharing the love of JDM's 6 minute portrayal like others are. To me he sounded like he was just handed the -script the day before and read off a teleprompter. Did his tone change at all? Did he have any emotion? I know it's TV and not the comics but one of the best parts during this scene was going down the line and Negan expressing why he wouldn't kill them...he doesn't wanna be called a racist, martyr, etc etc. Yes his speech was getting long winded, but that I feel is on the actor.

Not to mention they spend seasons building up Carol as a badd azz just to whimper out with a crisis of conscience now? Wouldn't a better time for this have been after the jail scene when Rick kicked her out of the group?

Finale was a fail. Whole entire season was a fail. I could have missed the entire season except maybe the last 5 minutes and been fine.

TWD spends seasons building up Carol as this ultimate bad azz and now they undercut all her strength to have this sudden crisis of concience? Smh

I didn't think that Morgan's portrayal of Negan was very good.

I love the way they are teasing Negan in the ads by just showing Lucille and just having him speak a few words.

 

My prediction.............nobody bites it in the finale. Negan lines them up, starts the selection process, and it ends when he picks "it".

 

I would be okay with that.

 

The ending is just the end of Lucille pointing at the victim who we don't see who it is till next season.

Virginia antique mall was a bust. Flipped through long box after long box of 90s drek, half good for the recycle bin the other half way overpriced. I did manage to rescue a Pressman X-men #303 from a barren shortbox with 10 worthless books in it from some Coca Cola / Christmas memorabilia collectors display case.

Pilot is already generating a lot of positive buzz. Why didn't I pick up a Preacher 1 last year like I told myself to?
