I wrote on the invoices that I shipped with the comics to please combine the two invoices when shipping. Is this enough, or do I need to call in and reiterate?

  2. Bosco, how do you feel about this movie so far?

I've seen him excel in a role (Foxcatcher, The Eagle). I've seen him do okay in a role (22 Jump Street, Jupiter Ascending). I haven't seen him completely bomb in a role. Depending on his supporting cast, this could be at least a mild success and carrying him forward to the next X-franchise movie.

I really liked his performance in The Eagle. That is what gives me hope this could work.

    +1

  3. The Iron Fist Villain We Can Probably Expect In Season 1

Although the true names are disguised under pseudonyms, the characters listed on Point of Geeks are both series regulars on the show. The first person, named “Dylan Kendall,” matches Iron Fist, a.k.a. Danny Rand, perfectly, but it’s the second character, named “Henry Marshall,” who sounds like Steel Serpent; or at minimum, another villain. Take a look:

"45 – 50 yrs old Caucasian, highly intelligent, merciless, confident and arrogant, physically active. SERIES REGULAR"

Rarely are good guys ever described as “merciless” and “arrogant,” so it stands to reason that this individual will be a sinister figure on Iron Fist.

If I recall correctly, Steel Serpent was name dropped on Daredevil.

  4. I'm still crossing my fingers that Kilgrave told Jessica "you will think you killed me & are free from my control" and slipped away, knowing that it was only a matter of time that she would be unable to be controlled even with his enhanced powers sooner or later, and that we saw this as from Jessica's perspective of him having convinced everyone that she killed him & was free from him sneaking back up on her anytime soon.

Of course, he will be the puppetmaster to some other villains in Season 2 but be smarter to hide his control this time.

That would be awesome, great idea! Supposedly Kilgrave was spotted on the set of Luke Cage and Michael Colter has already said the time frame takes place after the Jessica Jones happenings.

  5. Who Are the Other Speedsters in the DCU that Could Appear on The Flash

    Max Mercury

A time-traveling speedster, Max Mercury gained his powers via a dying Indian shaman. Max has a deep understanding of the Speed Force and taught Jay Garrick, Johnny Quick and Wally West about the mysterious force that grants speedsters their powers. Occasionally, Mercury has tried to actually travel into the Speed Force, reaching speeds fast enough that he actually travels through time. Normally, Max can’t reach the same speeds as other speedsters, but does have greater agility and maneuverability that grants him an edge in battle. Max mentored Bart Allen for a time, hoping to teach him patience (with mixed results).

Maybe that would be another reason to have Constantine show up if mysticism becomes part of the show focus.

    hmhm

Maybe I should pick up a Flash #76 just in case lol

  6. The actors did a marvelous job. The dialogue was impeccable. My favourite episode was when he went against the Asian crime-lord in the warehouse, to be later confronted by the Kingpin. That fight was really visceral. This is the action where most action/superhero TV series fail. I also enjoyed how he avoided being captured by the cops when he was handcuffed.

Finally a series where you enjoy the characters, love the plot twists, and look forward to the next show.

Just about finished re-watching DD and Episode 9 is clearly my favorite. The fight scene with Nobu is THE BEST I can recently remember. Just amazingly done.

  7. i think its safe to assume luke cages show will occur chronologically before his appearance in Jessica Jones, in that i t will be his origin story.

hm hm It looks like it with David Tennant being spotted on set. Looking forward to seeing more of the Purple Man!

    Actually I think we're wrong...

Despite the fact that his solo show initially sounded like it was going to contain origin story elements, Colter himself said that Luke Cage will be chronologically dated after the events of Jessica Jones.

"I can tell you what they’ve allowed me to, which is basically, Luke Cage will take place a few months after Jessica Jones. So in real time, if you watch Jessica Jones, you’ll find [at the end] Luke Cage uptown in Harlem, working, trying to make ends meet."

Maybe the Purple Man lives hmm hm

  9. Here is a question - will the price of Daredevil 4 crash pretty much immediately once the show is released if he dies in the last episode? A typical show we would have 13 weeks of build up but since they release all the episodes at once will the normal run up time be eliminated? Or will the slow trickle of new fans finding the show cause books to heat up and then potentially crash once "everyone" has seen the season?

Kingpin didn't die so we can't use Daredevil as an example and I can't think of another show to use as reference.

I don't think so. If the show is good (which I think it will be) they'll do another season. Killgrave is a villain that I see will always exist as long as there is Jessica Jones.
