I package very well and these books will be boxed and packed with extreme care. Shipping will only be to Canada or the continental U.S. Shipping will cost $15.00 (it will be more than this but I will cover it) unless stated otherwise. Shipping to the US is taking a little longer these days - but I will package well and ship asap after payment with tracking! 3) Acceptable forms of payment: Paypal only here (or EMT if you are a CDN Boardie). 4) No HOSers or problem children. Agreed and I think Jubilee is also definitely a possibility. I just think Kitty is a cool character and having the White Queen and Sebastian Shaw as well makes this a great book and a top bronze age key for the X-Men (top 5 bronze X-Men book for me - GSXM1, XM101, XM94, XM129). That being said I don't think is is a $13K book for a 9.8 - although I think 9.8s are relatively "scarce" for this book (but I could be wrong). Full disclosure I own a copy (CGC 9.2 White Pager newsstand) and as I down-size my collection it may be one of the books to go, but I still really love this book. But as the OP stated for $13K I would much rather take that money and buy a 2.5 X-Men 1

I also think it is quite likely that Kitty Pryde will show up and I can see them building the Mentorship role with Wolverine. They need to do that character right as there is great potential. but agree that the price is high for a 9.8 but it is a great book.

XM94 is really picking up steam - I am tempted to sell my CGC 7.0 copy ......... but it is such a great book.

Finished it last night (a Friday/Saturday night split 😁) and it was epic! So much better than the 2017 POS version ....... and I am really really hoping there is a sequel. No spoilers - so no details - but Wonder Woman is great in this film and the score they use for her is so incredible (love it every time I hear it). Cyborg is so much better now that he actually has a role (imagine that). Really well done and so glad fans got to see this ......... do the right thing WB and let him finish his trilogy ......... please 🙏🤞🙏

GSXM1 is definitely the more important and valuable book, but it shouldn’t be 5x as expensive IMO.

I want this shirt! But I want the movie more ....... the JL deserves so much more than what Whedon did to it, so I am pumped to see the original vision for this movie! Crave better be dropping it on the 18th in Canada 🤞 I know they are supposed to - but just no advertising from them that I have seen.

Price Drop on the NES to $110 + shipping

For me it is easily X-Men 1 - but for me it’s a top three Marvel silver age book (always has been and this surge has nothing to do with it). ASM1 is a great book but it easily ranks behind AF15, X-Men 1, IH1, FF1, TOS39, and JIM83

But I also feel it doesn't work at low grades either - i.e., there is a price to get into a low grade say 2.0-2.5 range and it is often higher than a price per point matrix. Its almost as if there is a minimum entry point for certain books (higher than a price per point average) - then a price per point average can be applied for 4.0 -8.0 ranges and then it gaps again in higher grades. But maybe it is just books I look at

Ya I think it will have a nice run up - however, I don’t think it will approach the value of GSXM1. The market seems to have really focused solely on first appearances to drive value. But it should be fun to watch from the sidelines 😁

X-Men 94 seems to be heating up - glad I picked up a 7.0 a few months back to match my GSXM 7.0. I guess it makes sense as these books used to be so close in value - so with a surge in GSXM1, XM94 had to have a run-up as well. Although, I don’t think it will get close to GSXM1 as the market has shifted to put most of the value in a book to First Appearances.

Geeesh those numbers for a 4.0 and 4.5 are such a steep increase even from last sales in the $11-12k range. wondering what the impact on the 2.0-3.0 market will be - as they were only about $2-3k below the prior 4.0 sales. But it would be tough to see a 3.0 at $12k I would think ..... but who knows this market is a bit nuts.

That is a good point - that was the same for me when I bought my Hulk 181 CGC 5.0 for $1,900 in December 2019 (I thought I had overpaid - but wanted a copy back in the collection). Now I am laughing. If you are buying X-Men 1 right now - as a collector, I think you need to be of the opinion that it has to be in your personal collection and if you don’t add it you will always regret it - ie., I feel like it has reached a price level where it has to be one of your favourite books and must haves - and if is, then add it and if it falls a bit or a fair amount it really shouldn’t bother you that much. If it isn’t one of your top books then it has reached the price level where it can’t just be a “nice to have” I know for me it is my favorite book in my collection (although my TOS39 and BB28 give it a good run 😁).
