So Dr. Strange is in the top 10 of biggest openers ever? Unreal...I guess the MCU is healthy afterall.

How can someone complain about a dark scarlet witch storyline when that is what the movie is delivering similar to the comics that preceded it?
The MCU is not going to give you exactly what you want. By now most of us understand this.

Reviews are all over the place on this one. I have hope though because I read more than a few that say "not for children". That doesn't sound like the MCU cookie cutter theme.

I'm not big on Moon Knight as a character but are fans of the book happy with this show?
Don't really see a way to get him into a movie now, he seems destined to stay a Disney + property.

A nice looking 7.5 Vampi 1 went for $1650 on clink tonight. Almost bid because I felt it looked undergraded, but the lack of a back cover scan made me stay away.

Maybe Sony will treat us to a Venom, Morbius, El Muerte, Madame Web team up movie like we all have been clamoring for...
Let's salute Sony for taking risks. 👏

The audio commentary on the blu ray with Arnold and Milius is highly entertaining.

Saw this over the weekend with the family. It was long and I was quite bored at times. Pattinson didn't work for me, wife thought the same. Kids liked it so I guess it was worth going but I have no inclination to rewatch it. Still waiting for the definitive Batman movie.

I'm sorry but a Kraven movie without Spiderman involved is just dumb.

Did you read that post before submitting?
That's why it will never, ever, ever, ever happen. Ever.
Of course, in terms of CGC profits it won't happen. That doesn't mean it shouldn't be in place. This is about stopping the logjam of submissions and making new books wait a year would help.
Every new release that comes out has multiple vendors with 9.8 pre sales. Why? Do we need that? Just a glut of junk that can wait to get graded if the demand for it ensues.

I would like CGC to stop accepting books that are less than a year old. By making people wait a year to submit new comics the spec driven "rush to market" books would have to wait a year and probably the heat would die down so they wouldn't get graded at all by that point.
Would help a little bit at least.

Looking forward to watching this. Is this going to be on HBO Max on release day?
87% on RT, 73% with top critics. Should be decent.

Back then Marvel was encouraging artists to copy the styles of Jim Lee and Rob Liefeld. When they left to form Image there was a slew of copycat guys that work.

Technically, a later printing is not a first appearance, so while they may be harder to find, the value should be diminished based upon the reality that a possible 5th printing came out months after the 1st.

Has UF 4 replaced Walking Dead 1 as the highest priced non variant modern book? Can't think of any others in that range...

Is this going to be in 3D again? Or in 12 years has he developed some new technology where we are given scuba gear when we walk into the theater?
