  1. I was at a store and saw a issue of Heathcliff #12 going for $800 and was a little confused as to why, then i searched ebay and saw the same price range (and higher). Any reason why? And are there any other Star comics that are worth a lot of money these days? I might have to dig out the old box of comics that i considered worthless and go through it.

My friend who works at Silvercup Studios in Long Island City in Queens, NY said that they will start filming again in January.

That's possible, i just mean the other shows went back last week. I spoke to the art director on this show a few days ago and he said they didnt give anyone a definite return date yet.

Maybe you guys will in the future and maybe you should if not getting what you deserve. Nothing can happen or be completed without you all. Is your contract up in 24 or 25?

It's up in '24. By the time everyone is up and running again i don't see them striking again. But let's see what happens with the teamsters whose contract is up at the same time, Lindsey Dougherty seems like a tough one.

Yes, so the actors can sit in their air conditioned trailers (after making sure to lecture crew how "we're all equal and in this together", waiting for their Starbucks, not wearing masks on set (even tho SAG is the one demanding crew wear masks), crying about global warming as their limousines idle with air conditioning on, and on and on and on....

Most of the time on set 80% of the actors are sitting on crappy chairs at folding tables looking bored out of their mind waiting for the time they are needed on set for 12 hours a day making not that much money. Don't judge them by the 20% of that get dressing rooms and trailers. And the masking ended late April or early May for us in the business. Have you ever even been on set?

In terms of independent productions, outside of the main studio's is there anything available?

Is it just the streaming platforms that are locked down, feeding their own content.   But there are independent content producers with Amazon etc.

Hopefully I'm not being grossly naive here about how the whole system works from your side :foryou:

There are around 60 productions in NY on hold right now because of the strike ready to go
