  1. That's actually not a bad idea. Especially since while I really REALLY loved S2 of DD, S1 of JJ and S1 of LC, I thought each of them had a few episodes worth of lull in the middle that could have been cut out had the seasons been maybe 2-3 episodes shorter.

However, I am pretty certain that they're further along in Defenders than they are in Punisher. And Defenders is supposed to only be 6-8 episodes, I believe.

Punisher started shooting October 3rd, Defenders starts shooting Oct. 31

When did/does Iron Fist start shooting?

    It just finished

  3. So today I got offered to do the Punisher. And I had to turn it down because I have too much on my plate right now. This sucks, I wanted that job probably more than any other show I've done.

    :o

No chance you could offload some of the current work? It would be cool having an 'inside source' reporting on the show.

    :wishluck:

Cant do that unfortunately. I run 2 shows that are 23 episodes each, to give them up for a 13 episode series doesn't make much sense financially.

  4. Then you should walk the fifteen minutes to Down the Hatch between 6th and 7th or wings at Down the Hatch... you can sort of drift by the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory building which was where the fire occurred that prompted building codes as we know them today and then you can pass the giant arch by Washington Square Park.

After DTH, if you want to walk about ten minutes north of there or take a short cab or subway ride... keep going west until you get to an entrance for the Highline... That is the giant ever growing raised boardwalk, nature walk that is built upon the tracks of the previous century's elevated train line.

There is so much more to do in NYC then to go into comic book stores where you could find the back issues cheaper on eBay or at cons.

I'm staring at the highline right now from my desk at work. The taco truck stand has some of the best tacos ever. And no one on the highline speaks English or knows how to walk.

  5. I don't know how you guys can watch a cam version. It spoils the movie. If you're not going to watch it on the big screen then at least wait for an HD release :(

There is only so much of Sofia the 1st and Dora the explorer I can take. Wife was away, kids were busy playing and watching tv, and she will never go to the theater to see it, so why not? Its either that or wait until it comes on cable, which I'm too impatient for.

  6. If they shoot this the same time as another marvel series (like they did with DD season 2 and Luke Cage simultaneously), I am going to go after this job hard. My buddy is the coordinator on the main marvel show, but the secondary ones are probably up for grabs.

Pictures of the sets when you do - please.

    :foryou:

I can get in a lot of trouble for that, we have to sign like 10 pages of paperwork with the repercusions for that...Heres a pic to the entrance of the art department, that's about as far as I can give..lol

  7. the main shows they did were daredevil then Jessica jones then cage then iron fist, same crew and then did them right after another. They filmed daredevil season 2 while Luke Cage was gong on so they needed a separate crew, hopefully same thing happens for Punisher and Jessica Jones S2, because they just started shooting Iron Fist and haven't even begun on Defenders yet. If they need a separate crew I'm going after them.
