Has anyone else noticed that Detective 431 seems to show up way more often in high grade than surrounding issues? Was it part of a find?

This is the only book I won this time around. Not the one I wanted most, but it seems to have great eye appeal.

Just placed what I thought was an aggressive bid for CGC 9.6 W B&B 98...$272 and still lost!

Does this staple look rusted to you?

Notice how the lower staple looks a lot darker and thicker than the upper one? Seems unlikely the staple is rusty given the 9.6 grade and the white pages plus fresh appearance of the book, just looks a little odd to me. Opinions?

Just picked this beauty up on the boards...picture doesn't do justice, colors are incredible, looks like it was printed this morning.

It's odd, I picked that book up in a lot on eBay 15 years ago pretty cheaply. Most of the books were not in great condition, but the 409 and 411 were both super nice.

Are you talking about the Detective 411 or a different book? I wasn't aware 'Tec 411 was even a key. Happens to be one of the few nice 15 cent Detectives I have...

Latest Bronze Supes pickup!

I got a $15 off $75 eBay coupon so I picked this up. I'm sure you have it already Brandon or it wouldn't have sat on eBay for a week before I grabbed it!

About ten years ago I picked up a nice small collection of Jugheads from 1960-1970 or so. I was soon distracted by other collecting interests, but I re-discovered those books recently and my interest in Jugheads is once again piqued. Here are some of my favoorite books from that collection:

I no longer collect Conan, but I did keep these three issues because they're in really nice shape, especially the Annual which is flawless. (Disregard wavy lines which are light reflection off Mylar.)
