Nice 133! I wish I could find a 132 that looked like that! ?

I’m actually a big fan of bronze World’s Finest. Some of my earliest comics as a kid were from this title, mostly the hundred pagers and the issues immediately after them. I’m always looking for nice ones, but they don’t seem to be offered too frequently.

Bought this in a moment of weakness at a Big Apple con years ago. Blew my budget for awhile, but I can’t pass up great eye appeal!

A couple more nice ones I got on the same day...

@Brando- Most mainstream 100 pagers had NM Overstreet values of $5-7 well into the 90s. I forget when the change occurred, but it seemed like they went from $7 to $70 from one guide to the next.

Absolutely, the cover is mere icing on the cake. The supporting WGBS backdrop that would define Supes into the early eighties was introduced in this issue. And I for one never liked Kirby’s work on Jimmy Olsen, as it clashes with the consistent Curt Swan depiction that I loved in the seventies and still love today.

Going through some books this morning reminded me of the good old days pre-EBay and pre-CGC (well, bad old days in some ways too of course) when demand for high grade books was not through the roof and all it took was 1.5x guide in most cases. I remember complaining bitterly when I had to pay $12 apiece for some super nice 100 pagers at a show in 1993.

Awesome!! Well done! I've stalled out a bit on this run lately, but every time I get another my enthusiasm returns!

Picked up a really nice copy of this book....

I still love the Byrne art and the plotting on the Byrne/Claremont run. But I have to say, Claremont's scripting has not aged that well with me.

Thanks. Not sure why the guy said the cert number didn't check out, because  it checks out fine.

Someone was offered this book and asked for advice about it on another forum. He said the serial number didn't check out so he passed. Unfortunately this is the only pic I have (and the serial number is not legible) but I was wondering whether anyone recognized the book.
