  1. Obviously we can't all be happy with the size of the font. I prefer size 10 or less... but you old folks need 16+... The best solution would be for each person to be able to customize font size themselves in their preferences.
  2. Thanks BILL43 for the smooth transaction we completed Enjoy the books.
  3. I've been reading through this thread off and on throughout the day. WOW! I just can't fathom how much a collection like this would be worth! Will we ever be this excited for an original owner copper comic collection?? Thanks for sharing!
  4. thanks jarren for the sweet xmen comic, great packaging!
  5. Picked this up off ebay, a rare nice find. im just using the scan from the auction here, the seller graded it as a 9.0.
  6. [/img] Just picked this up for 22.50 plus shipping from ebay. I can't understand why it went for so little.
  7. Kudos to you Mr. Ed Thanks for the primo FF #16 at a grade and a price I could afford Now go buy the baby some new shoes Look out for the dead uncle. He may come after you. He probably isn't happy that his niece is selling off his books.
  8. Thanks divad and ft88 for your recent purchases! my wife can now buy more gymboree clothes from ebay. Plus... she now sees that I sell comics too... not just buy.
  9. Lucky for sure, I've been looking for this one for awhile. Think I'll move onto bronze age detectives now. http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?View...A%3AIT&rd=1
  10. Picked up a Detective 359 last week on ebay. The seller had the wrong picture (358 instead of 359) so I was the only bidder.
  11. i first stumbled upon the comicpriceguide.com site, noticed they had a forum and lurked there for a day... also posted a bit there. at the time i was there, there were a lot of people talking about how having your comics graded by cgc was a waste of time... bugaboo for example. i found this interesting so i thought id have a look at the cgc website and the rest is history. it wasn't my first time visiting the cgc website though... i checked it out i think back in 2000 or 2001...(i guess there was no message board then) my first post was a pic of my hulk 181 where i was asking for a grade http://boards.collectors-society.com/sho...true#Post478665
  12. is it ok if i use these pictures for my ebay auction "selling collection of every DC comic" let me know, thanks i suggest you add a water mark or something to protect your pics...
  13. it really is an amazing feat Ian... but dang... you must cringe when you have to buy some of the DC krap... especially the new junk. How many new DC comics do you have to buy a month to keep up your collection now? Just looking through my collection, which is mostly copper,... ive got so much dc junk. I think you are the only person to have a full run of Electric Warrior, i "lucked" out several years ago, when i bought a stack off comics (mystery stack) and found some of those in it... so... if having the entire collection of DC no longer mattered to you... which DC issues would be the first to be tossed?
  14. excellent job! can't wait to see the pictures
