  1. Thought this golden goodie fit this threads usual horror/crime/supernatural motif(though it's earlier.) MLJ's answer to DC's Spectre, Mr. Justice, does battle in Hades. Wait, they have guns there?!?!
  2. great acquisition. I purchased the copy in the last HA signature auction. Under appreciated a little i feel because it's a crime cover and not a horror one. But it's a masterpiece! Mine was the only one on the one on the cgc census......I'm sure not for long
  3. Whoa pardner! That's some eye popping cheese ca..er, gga...er, i mean romance western book you got there! (thumbs u
  4. Great picks, it's so good to see Wonder Woman finally getting embraced by the collecting community with a such a feverish passion! She is a unique icon in our hobby and peerless as THE super heroine of the ages!
  5. Very nice (thumbs u thank you sir, great compliment from a collector like yourself! this is indeed a cool cover; i especially like how both edges are already bloodied. Thanks Straw-Man. Again, always appreciate when the big dogs give a thumbs up!
  6. i would've felt better in about five seconds! Nice!
  7. Very nice (thumbs u thank you sir, great compliment from a collector like yourself!
  8. Thank you. That Planet cover has always caught my eye when I see it. Nice pick ups!
  9. Sweet! I have no 'Jungle' books/covers yet. Will be focal point for acquisitions soon though.
  10. Whoa! Terrific book! Thanks Sqeggs! Some really nice covers in this run.

  12. way to go Jayman! Really nice skull covers! And black to boot!
  13. Great cover, see you're still nabbing things here and there
  14. Nice first pick there! and welcome to my world, . But I warn you: this is how it starts...but I'm sure you know that
  15. Great pick up! One of the golden ages best! Congrats!
  16. You should, good variety. Btw, nos. 2 and 14 are possibly the best covers in the run(good eye there!) followed by 1, 6, and 9, and the very illusive #11. Glad there are some other fans out there
  17. Thank you, it's really a great short run(14 issues) but no.12 was put in the category of 'doesn't exist' so really 13 issues
  18. This is a run i had hoped to have ready for the registry awards this year, but 1)still need three more issues(one in particular NEVER comes up) in grades i could live with, and 2)only two of the issues are slabbed so far. Other books i want keep coming up, so i keep putting off sending what i do have in. This tile is officially a 'crime' title, but some of the covers in the run, and feature stories inside spanned many genres, including horror and supernatural. This is the first issue
  19. Since i also don't have a copy of Fantastic Comics #3, this has to by my favorite LOU FINE cover. Two dueling men, a woman bound to a giant Skull, and the striking red backdrop
  20. pristine copy with vivid colors , as usual also, you don't disappoint!
  21. never get tired of seeing this book( or any of your a MLJ collection
  22. He is, and his early Captain Marvel/Whiz Comics covers (before his approach became more 'cartoony' I feel to disguise him from a certain 'man of steel')are some of the best from any publisher. Nice choice
