I think I remember that auction. I thought it was a steal at 22k ish fir all 7 pages ? ( although they were raw ?). Page 5 was always my favorite but I’ve since become a champion of Page 1 as the best of the bunch.

I’ve looked into it as a collector and it sure seems pricey to me.....curious as to others thoughts and what they do regarding insurance of some sort .....

I thought the condition of page 1 was sufficient to tie the Action 1 Page 1 record ( yes the greatest single page in all of comicdom ). I thought people wud liquidate if need be to get one of these pages as who knows when another opportunity would arise.

Hindsight Turtle but I would think so - certainly within 30 days. I thought at least 2 of the pages wud have fetched that and one hitting 20k. I was shocked.

Couldn’t agree more ! I was just having this conversation yesterday with another boardie. Trimmed is not restored ! It’s is destruction ( or taking away from something but certainly not adding to it to bring it back to its original state ). I don’t understand why CGC does not differentiate this on their labels while their biggest competition does note the difference between trimmed and restoration On their labels

Ha ! I’ve never seen Bat pages from a Tec 27 come up for auction publicly ever ! Page 2 ( my favorite page ) is in a substantial lead and I predict will finish that way ( although there’s not a bad page in the bunch ). Bunch = 3 pages 😳. Each page has a hostoricalness to it ( I can’t say that about the Action 1 pages )
