Does it work on the Metal-backed tags you sometimes see on tpbs and hardcovers from certain annoying retailers?
Yes, Bestine should work on foil metal-backed tags but recommend u wear an industrial or true N95 face mask when using it under a strong fume hood.

I usually only do for higher end books but if you want to pay $35-$40 shipping for a $25 book, I’d be happy to. I’ve been burnt sending lots to Canada where the shipping is far more than expected. The Thor lot would be $60 for shipping.
All I can say is USPS air (about $25 US) to Canada is usually cheaper than Global Priority, and off-times faster to arrive.

I'm guessing you've never had the thrill of being the high bidder on a book you have no realistic chance of winning.
Now that cLInk auction is over, reminder that one can by a repro of the Double Action #2 covers and inside ads for about $8 plus postage via feeBay. Then marry a coverless misc. More Fun or whatever loose GA DC parts u have to build your own DA #2 by X-mas.

Kang still sucks, tho.
I hope the MCU uses Kang's other timeline as Rama-tut, Egyptian Pharaoh in Avengers: Kang (2) movie. Then use Kang's other persona, Doctor Doom, in Marvel's Avengers 'Secret Wars' (#3) film just to give purple Kang less screen time, if he is not liked by fandom. The latter leading into another reboot of live action FF movie.

Wild that S&S were thinking about the marketing possibilities of Superman -- foreseeing the 1940 product explosion and so forth -- even way back in 1935, when he was a completely untested concept.

so, now i can ask, hows that 'marvels' movie doing?
Don't waste 2.5 hours of your time with 'Marvels' movie. For good Brie well written/directed by BJ Novak, try season 1 of 'Lessons in Chemistry.' 8 episodes streamed so far with each episode getting better. Still has some female empowerment so u will feel it may be tangentially MCU.

I fear that it has diluted this place for sales.
If USA back issue sellers opened up their mail order shipping to Canada or international, they may be able to sell through more.

It's crazy, but this is still the best place for long-term discussions.

but also led to their demise because of the Comics Code, which they couldn't have foreseen coming. Super-heroes, of course, didn't really flourish again until DCs silver-age re-boot, aimed at a bit older audience, and then Marvel, aimed at an even older audience still.
