  1. Ridiculous they don’t fulfill the preorders first. Is Lando shipping at the same time? Hopefully you get a sturdier shipping package then.
  2. Yessir. I hardly believe it myself. I preordered Snake Eyes on Dec 22 and still waiting for that. But I ordered Storm Shadow on Sunday.
  3. Storm Shadow surprisingly arrived yesterday. Unsurprisingly, the card was beat up a bit due to Walmart shipping in a freaking envelope. I’m just glad the bubble didn’t get damaged (which happened to a friend of mine).
  4. Dang. Did you order thru Pulse? I missed when they were available for preorder there and only finally saw them by the time they were sold out. I was very surprised to see them on Walmart’s site. I’ll keep you posted but Walmart says it should be here by this Tuesday.
  5. Heads up for Joe collectors…the retro classified Storm Shadow and Zartan are in-stock on Walmart.com. Just be aware they basically ship them in a bubble envelope.
  6. Conan the Barbarian popped up on my Netflix feed last week so I tried to get my wife to watch it with me This was her after Thulsa Doom’s raiders took out the village and you see them riding out with Conan’s parents heads on spikes…
  7. Gunn seems to have achieved “legend in his own mind” status but you’re not entirely wrong. It’s absolutely in the cards he could deliver an awesome Superman movie…just not sure about the dog tho
  8. I’m very fortunate to have a good friend (Jay) who started a smaller but rapidly growing con up here in NH. He’s done 7 shows the past 6 years and I’ve been the driver for the “feature” artist/ guest for most of these shows. The first year was Al Milgrom, who incidentally, has been in attendance for most of the shows now. He’s one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet and I’m happy to say is also just like us, a fan of comics, movies and tv shows. Super fun to talk to. The following year was Jim Steranko. The show is on a Saturday and the night before Jay hosted a private “dinner with Steranko” at the hotel next to the convention. I was to pick Jim up at Boston Logan airport and drive him to the dinner. Thunder storms delayed his flight by 4 hours! Anyway, he finally arrives and I meet him in the baggage claim I grab his box of prints (which was about 400lbs) and tell him I’ll be right back with the car and he says “then I need you to grab us a couple Go Go girls” We then make the 2 hour drive to Concord which was super cool. He was very engaging and asked me a lot of questions about what artists I like, books I collect etc. He also borrowed my cell phone to call his girlfriend . I also was able to help him at the show. The guy is an absolute pistol. Man, can he talk. I also got to drive Sam De La Rosa and Jim Shooter the next couple of years. Both awesome guys and easy to talk to. It was a treat to meet Mr Shooter as he presided over my introduction to comics and I must have asked him a million questions about making GI Joe. 2 weeks ago was probably the highlight of them all. I drove to NY and picked up Jim Starlin! That was cool! During the ride up he actually got his invite to the Guardians 3 premiere in LA. We talked about Endgame and his cameo in it. (It took 8 takes, Chris Evans was more preoccupied with his phone between takes, the Russo bros are cool guys, and Josh Brolin is not only an awesome dude but a big hugger lol). We got to the hotel and he was hungry so we went and grabbed dinner. The next day I helped him at the show and the following morning drove him to Boston for his flight to LA. On the way we talked about movies and such, who would win in a fight, Vader or Thanos (sans gauntlet). He said Thanos, I disagree! He’s a pretty humble guy and very friendly to fans. One guy came with the Hasbro Legendary series Infinity Gauntlet, I said “Jim, I need a pic of you wearing that!” He obliged…
  9. I rewatched the finale last night. The end battle was pretty dang epic.
  10. No putting that genie back in the bottle. Hopefully they can make some good films and we can say “glad they rebooted the DCU”. 🤞🏼
  11. Hmm I always assumed ‘shipped’ was short for relationship? I may be misunderstanding you tho. It’s been a minute since I watched S1 but I thought it was only one episode where the romance theme popped up? For me, it doesn’t make sense for Mando to have a relationship. He’s a fighter! Not a lover! Weapons are his religion! He should be kicking a-zz…not eating it!
  12. Completely agree. I don’t know why people feel the need to ‘ship’ these characters. I thought the finale was pretty good but the season as a whole was a mixed bag but it’s certainly worthy of a re-watch soon.
