  1. I think they're making a mistake going the high school route. We've seen that, twice.

They should have gone the Batman V. Superman route and made it that Spidey has been doing street level stuff for a few years...

He was helping out during the battle of New York....

He's married to Mary Jane and the Hero Registration act threatens her safety if Peter reveals his identity...

  2. I'll chime in here as I recently had an issue with Paypal.

Paypal doesn't care if you're friends or not...if money is sent to buy something... it should be used as goods and services.

Paypal placed a 24 hour "freeze" on my account, which has since been resolved.

They noticed an increase in volume and many payments going out and coming in via friends and family. They didn't like it.

  3. My goodness, this thread is truly something else.

It is not disrespectful to send someone a lowball offer. Just ignore it if you don't like it, stop whining about it, I can't stand it anymore. Business is business. Stop getting butt hurt.

Why not to set the Automatically decline offers lower than your amount in eBay? Make them look stupid.

    I don't feel stupid when I'm auto-declined :makepoint:

  4. So I just got a message on eBay from someone asking for a discount claiming to be a disabled army veteran. Normally I am all for it since I have nothing but the highest respect for them. How do you guys normally handle these requests and verify that you're actually dealing with an army veteran? Would this be out of good faith?

However, after checking this guy's feedback history, I think I will hold back on doing any business with him. It's literally covered in red starting on page 2 and after.

    That's lame.

Don't get me wrong. I appreciate anyone who has served in the military.

But do they do it to serve our country, or to get paid?

My brother in law and his wife are in the air force and are WELL taken care of.
