  1. Is the AH cover the normal cover? What's with the cartoonish cover?
  2. Don't know if you'd call this heating up , but 7 bids and it's been selling well since he showed up in the NYCC Alex Ross secret wars teaser. Maybe there's still time to buy
  3. Theres a 6.0 Avengers 3 raw at my LCS that looks like the it has the right side trimmed on the FC and a few color touches on the spine. Any idea what that would be valued at approx?
  4. That's actually a very very nice 2.5 wow! Thanks Oak, it was kind of an impulse buy, but there was no remorse once I had it in hand. Great looking book! Sometimes the impulses buys work out!
  5. Is there still time to Slab my 3 copies of Black Panther #1?
  6. more like wall-o-awesome edit: what are you using as shelving?
  7. The centerfold of the mag size has a nice artist spotlight
  8. I picked it up, it has the first cover from life with archie. It looks great in larger format, I can't wait for the next issue!
  9. The Human Torch cover is the money one (in terms of art and homage factor)! Grabbed that for $20 today, and the Connors Harley variant for $20 as well at a shop. Totally agree, I got both today too. $15 each though, I got an extra HQ if anyone needs one.
  10. Made another order with John and the books showed up in better condition than advertised! They were packaged perfectly and shipped super fast for under 10 bucks to Canada. One of the best sellers on this board!
  11. First tales of asgard!! Sweet! I'll give you a couple bucks for the FF48
  12. Thanks man. Ya, kind of scary. We're all in lockdown here. Watching on CBC, stay safe
  13. The best part of buying the book and not the grade for slabs is that they usually arrive in the same condition as the scans, unlike raw books that can get damaged in shipping. I'm sure some slabs get damaged in transit, but it has to be a super low percentage compared to raws.
  14. Do you inform CGC of the cracked book? I wonder if the current stats on the CGC database are updated. I do. But I charge $5 for the service.
  15. Most cgc comics aren't priced at a premium. The ultra high grades have their collectors that buy and keep them slabbed. CGC was started as a direct response to online/mail ordering as a way to show the condition of that book without having to trust the seller. People buy slabbed comics for all kinds of reasons, and a lot of collector's don't keep them slabbed once they're in their collection. Having a comic slabbed is really only a benefit when trying to sell it.
  16. For some reason I don't think this collection will have moxes, you're better off looking for force of wills and wastelands
  17. Thanks for the bump! I posted a few Canadian's in This Thread if anyone wants to check them out.
  18. That's beauty 4.5, I wouldn't have him sign it.
  19. You're looking a lot of work if you don't know any cards yourself. There are plenty of places that you can look up prices, but it'll be time consuming, since a lot of sets from 10+ years ago don't even tell you if the cards are rare(worth more) or not. Here's a list of most of the cards that are worth money from that time period, there are more than this list but this has most of the cards that will most likely be in the collection. http://www.mtggoldfish.com/prices/paper/legacy_one If you have any pictures of some of the collection, I can eyeball it to tell if it's worth going through. Cheers
