This is from superman #87

Bridget loves the vanilla coke zero. I'm drinking caffeine free coke zero these days
Do you still talk as fast without the caffeine?
I've mellowed
Have you been over to General recently? I feel so unworthy.

...And I thought you only mentored the great unwashed over here in Gold.
Damn, you beat me to it! It was in gold and switched to the unwashed masses after it got unruly.

How is this any different than what people could do themselves?
You really are trying to sell this service to the exact wrong audience. This board is filled with high level buyers, sellers and dealers - that do this on a regular basis on their own.
If you want to consign things - you need to go local - find friends and contacts that really do not want to be bothered with trying to move their old comics.
@OP
above post ...
I will that's the next thing on this list but even if I did sell stuff for other people how would I be able to prove it?
receipts, photos, and a paper trail would be nice.

This is a thread for CG, not Gold ... sorry.
what's a cg thread?
Comic General
thanks, so how do I move this thread?
Ask a Moderator (usually called a mod)

This is a thread for CG, not Gold ... sorry.
Agreed, should be moved.
A tip for you Uchiha, spamming multiple threads to say how trustworthy you are does not scream trustworthiness, but desperation to win a popularity contest with no other competitors.
If you want trust, you have to earn it and this is not the way.
that's what I've been saying the whole time!
.......... Then why keep spamming? It just puts salt in the wound.

Yes, Scott, Michael is honoring us with these fine essays. He’s also (I think & hope) inferring that we ARE a worthy audience, as the students of GA are students of mythology.
I am always excited and honored whenever he updates this, and would love to see him tell it elsewhere/ keep a copy of his research offline for later enjoyment! (thumbs u

Anyone seen this? (I'm sure all of you have, and some of you have probably bid ) It looks trimmed to me...
that top looks like a child trimmed it.....

That is a cool copy! If you read the copyright, it looks like it was not a corporation that was printing these, but an individual person. Could be wrong though
-
Thought I would show this off here as well. It may not be in the best condition, but it does have a Gerber Scarcity Index of 8 (11-20 copies exist)
-
speaking of rare, I just picked one of these up! It may not be the prettiest copy but I am excited to have it in my collection, it has a Gerber Scarcity Index of an 8:

Harley was in Canada this weekend at a con. I managed to get a one line text from him all weekend.
He's pretty good about answering emails when he is in the office. Try again mid week: harleycomx@aol.com
wait, Harley still uses AOL
So do I. It's so uncool that it's almost cool.
Almost.
It's like a reverse hipster "I used it before it was uncool"

hey gator, do you know how one can get into contact with Harley Yee? He gave me his email at Megacon but I never got a response when I shot him an email.
It is weird, I shot him an email day after con (March 22nd) and another last week. Nothin'.

Don't worry GAtor knows everyone and everything.
Based on the size of this thread that seems to hold true!

I was gone for 2 weeks. I warned you guys about that. I just responded to the PM. I don't see Internet when I'm on trips. I hide from it so I can enjoy my work and reptile hunts. Here's a nice turtle pic I got in CA:
But ... but ... the Internet is life itself!
Neat turtles.

Captain Science 4 is dated of June 1951, Famous Funnies 213 is dated September 1954. I love the Orlando/Wood cover of the Cap Science!!
Exactly! Furthermore...
Frazetta, Orlando, and Wood were all friends who went to art school together (they were known as "The Fleagle Gang," along with Al Williamson and Angelo Torres), so it's very likely that Frazetta copied Orlando/Wood's composition with their blessing.
Various details, along with the overall composition and similarity in coloration, make it an irrefutable connection:
That is facinating, I had no idea! cool stuff
The details really are uncanny...

It came nearly 3 years before Famous Funnies 213
You beat to it......
