That book is not even close to a 4.0 WITHOUT THE PINK ALL OVER IT. You've been here for years and think that could possibly be a 4.0/4.5.You don't have a clue how to grade at all. Without the pink it's a 2.5, 3.0 at best. It's a 1.8/2.0 with the pink.
Stop wasting your money. Sell video games or stick to graded books, but you sir have no idea how to grade. If I got that book in a collection I'd put it out for $5.00.

I'm not you and also unlike you I don't value this comic at $5 nor give it a 1.8/2.0 grade. But since you're so stuck on the 2.5/3.0 grade tell me what makes it like that? What structurally do you possibly see that I don't?

I wouldn't buy that ASM 101 for 5 dollars,its got pink crayon all over it.
You changed your profile pic. Yes it does but I was willing to buy it for 30 because I will flip it and after all compared to what's on ebay now it will be the most affordable copy there.

Can anyone else think of a situation where there is person who is vying to be successful in a profession he is unqualified for in virtually EVERY SINGLE WAY?
Someone who completely lacks the experience, the temperament, the innate or acquired skills to be even remotely successful in that profession.
Someone who ignores the advice of more experienced, well meaning advisors.
Someone who bases statements and important decisions on unfounded rumors and misinterpretations of facts.
Someone who isn't at all careful with their social media, someone who thinks being completely unfiltered to the point where consequences are ignored is somehow an attribute rather than a detriment.
Someone who claims each disastrous decision is a learning experience, but then fails to learn the lesson.
Someone who doesn't know or understand even the most basic tenets of how foreign governments work.
Someone who downplays the contributions of their parents, when it is obviously significant.
Someone who has been bailed out by government assistance but doesn't make the connection to how that should impact how their own money is spent.
Someone who is wildly unsuccessful at one industry, who then doubles and triples down by losing money at other related industries, even though the same lack of skills will prevent him from being successful in those industries.
Someone who seems to have problems putting proper sentences together.
Someone who commonly appears to not even understand the most basic of relevant terms or industry rules or standards, but somehow sees that 'outsider' moniker as an virtue, as if he will discover some new way of being successful that all the smartest, most experienced people in that field have never thought of before.

Well looks like I'm not the only one that broke a rule. As for me not learning I didn't make this mistake with emotion it was me not paying attention to the info and acting upon it anyway. The numbers will speak for me and I already admitted that I have lots to improve on and make lots of mistakes.

That's the thing I never told him anything but he told me he was going to double down on protection like bubble wrap and cardboard.

December 2nd is that date when the trailer for her solo movie is going to air
They have a trailer for a movie that hasn't begun pre-production? That seems...not correct.
It's not the Dec 2nd date was the date of her new solo series not a movie so that was my fault. They are however making toys of her and they only do that before they start something. My friend still says she's a long term play.
Your friend appears to be making this up as he goes along.
Isn't that why they call it speculation?
It would be nice if some of the speculative info was even marginally correct. No denying that. But buying some HG raw copies at a good price is not a bad idea for this book. His mistake was getting all hyped up and not getting the info correct and then splurging for a slabbed 9.8
The primary concern with this deal, from my perspective, is that he will end up making a small profit on this book not because of good strategy but rather in spite of a bad decision to buy a hype book at the top of the market. Plenty of money is made on luck even when the process to get there stinks. Gabe will now be emboldened to chase after hype books based on minuscule information from some friend and he WILL get burned on that chase. It's inevitable.
The Hulk 180 purchase, assuming the deal is legit, is the type of deal I can applaud. Underpriced key books are almost always good buys.
I agree. In his position he should be more worried about stuff he can turn over quickly as opposed to books that "might" make him a small profit a year + from now.

Of course. Disney is super excited to invest over $100 million on a solo Star Wars movie for a character who has been around for 22 comic book issues. That is definitely Disney's plan!
Actually 25 and you're right they probably don't plan on doing it right now but if they didn't want to invest in her they wouldn't make toys of her and another new series right after the last DV comic.
She began in issue 3, remember, so it's not 25 issues. And you're totally right. LucasFilms and now Disney have been VERY reluctant to make action figures for characters. Only a very few characters get figures.

I disagree I may not be perfect at grading but I'm not terrible at it as you say. When I come across these things I still struggle deciding what grade they are but if if has common defects then I don't. You call it writing and I'm calling it something else maybe that's why we're apart on the grades.
