  1. I'm just assuming Stan Lee has been playing Uatu this whole time.
  2. Yeah, seriously. You could film the first three issues of FF, set it as a period piece and print money.
  3. Snapping a photo and posting it to Instagram takes three minutes. Settle down, Charlie. I thought it was Francis. He's not big on anyone touch his property. It's Gus. And technology scares me. I thought it takes like 3 hours Naw, only 2. 4 if you add a filter. Then again, Singer might spend a few extra minutes picking the right filter. He's an artiste, remember?
  4. Walking Dead #92 is blowing up. Over $150 for a copy in 9.8 on eBay. First appearance of Jesus is selling high while first appearance of Negan is still semi-affordable.
  5. Just so we're clear, the following are considered the official first appearances? Alpha - 132 Jesus - 92 Lydia - 133
  6. Snapping a photo and posting it to Instagram takes three minutes. Settle down, Charlie.
  7. What would lead them to believe that the cover is married if it isn't?
  8. Disney / Marvel. I'm pretty sure their net worth is multiples of what Fox's is. Fox is owned by the News Corporation, i.e. Rupert Murdoch. Calculating the net assets of that conglomerate and weighing it against Disney's is a tough thing to do. All I could really say is I have no idea except that Murdoch owns a bigger chunk of the planet's media than anyone else. I've got a book coming out in November, you should pick it up. Would blow your mind how much Murdoch does NOT own in media. He is by FAR not the largest owner of the planets media. There was this guy at my local PO, Burbank Main, named "Miles." He was the janitor. He had published a book about his close encounters with aliens and near-death experiences. He was always trying to get people to buy it.
  9. It's bad, but it's definitely not as bad as Batman and Robin or Superman IV. That's just insulting. The first 80% is a marginally passable sci-fi movie, even if there was zero character development or chemistry between the cast. The last tacked on ending just ruined everything.
  10. Neat character, but I would prefer they leave him dead.
  11. The big flipping MARVEL logo at the beginning of the flick probably had something to do with it.
  12. The top two are my grails. WD #1 and Saga #1 RRP.
  13. Drive-ins rock. Where else can you pay $10 for a double feature and get a hummer at the same time?
  14. And yes, this is how they do movie tickets in the military.
  15. What's your favorite Superhero movie of all time. The Dark Knight What's your favorite non-Superhero movie of all time. The Empire Strikes Back or Goodfellas How would you rate this on a scale of 1-10? A solid 3. As a sci-fi movie it barely works with a rushed ending and a villain whose motives are illogical and a bit confusing. As a Fantastic Four movie it fails completely. It's obvious no one working on the movie from the writers to the director(s?) to the cast had ever read FF. Zero character development, zero chemistry between Sue and Reed. Michael B. Jordan is a huge positive.
  16. I just got out of a screening an hour ago. Ask me anything.
  17. I would say I'm mistaken. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 and Crisis on Infinite Earths both pre-date Watchmen and TDKR and I consider both Copper. Maybe 1984 could be seen as a soft barrier for Copper. ASM #252, Secret Wars, and TMNT #1. Also, Gold Key stopped publishing, Alan Moore took over Swamp Thing, Marvel launched Star Comics, Superman #400, Cap #300, etc. Fun debate either way.
  18. VERY nice ! Thank you, sir. It's always fun to have these kind of discussions. That's part of the fun in this hobby is the diversity of tastes and opinions throughout.
