Isn’t the 22k 7.0 that sold last night a record for X-men 1 on the other hand the 7.0 ff1 Stan Lee sig at 33k and 7.0 AF 15 at 85k were great deals based on other recent sales of those books

For the most part yes but I think the Stan Lee signed ff1 7.0 at $33,000 and af 15 7.0 blue for 85k were pretty good deals based on recent sales over the last 5-6 months.

So I bought the dc Shazam archive 1 which has a reprint of the Flash Comics 1 Ashcan with captain thunder and whiz comics 2(1) comic with captain marvel the entire origin story in Whiz is identical to the ashcan including panels and the whole Shazam storyline. The Whiz copy has a few additional pages where cap actually takes on the villian but basically most of Whiz 2(1) is a reprint of the Flash ashcan. So I don’t understand why Flash ashcan is not considered the first appearance of Shazam and caps origin and whiz 2 basically a reprint. while most ashcans are reprints of existing comics like the Superman and Wonder Woman ashcans, this actually is the only ashcan to be the original with the comic being the reprint
