COMIXPRESS Mouse Guard 1 CGC 9.8, yes 9.8. This book got the qualified green label because of the unverified signature. The book was graded in 2007, not by me. I do not know if the signature is authentic or not. The case has some scratches but no cracks. This is the highest graded copy of the extremely rare black and white Comixpress. Only 200- 250 estimated to be printed. Movie was announced a couple years back and filming is supposed to start in early 2019. This book comes up for sale once, maybe twice a year. There have been 3 since 2016 that I know of that have come up on the boards. A 9.4 and 9.2 in 2016, both of which were mine. My 9.4 sold for $3000 back then. A signed 9.4 by that another boardie sold on here last year I believe for $3600. So they automatically applied sales tax to the book you sold? What state?

Makes no sense for eBay to collect my understanding of the decision is that unless you make sales totaling a certain amount - for example 100k throughout the year - sales tax is not triggered. So is eBay collecting sales tax even if an eBay seller make a few hundred or few thousand dollars in sales only to that state

I thought the internet sales tax applies to a seller only if that seller sells a certain amount per each state ie if your sales to state A are over 50k annual your sales to state B Are over 50k

Wow. That’s insane they were selling that cheap. Reminds me of NM87. I picked up a couple of those for under a hundred a few years back. But That’s a 500$ book now. I think OM3 will surpass that within the year. Any copy being offered under $300 has started flying off the Bay.

That’s really not that much in comparison to many of the modern “keys” that sell for multiples of omega men 3. There’s more than twice as many NM98s for example. The other surprising thing about omega men 3 is still no 9.9 or 10 graded. I have a feeling some of the 9.8s are regrades of people trying to get the illusive 9.9 or 10 there are almost 1100 9.8 1st venoms not to mention several 9.9s and as we all know those 9.8s go for 10 times an omega men 3 IMHO omega is a very undervalued book

I’m pretty sure the Fawcett Flash was original material that was later used in part in Whiz 2 which is why I think it’s so cool. The true first appearance of captain marvel if I am not mistaken. Moondog obviously is the leading authority and can correct me on that if I’m wrong

Moondog any chance you have the grades on these. I remember the Thrill was a 9.0 and the Fawcett Flash was a 4.5 as I was following both. The others I don’t know. I was hoping to get the Flash as it was a lower grade copy and hoped it would end under 15k but got out of my range. The 9.4 Fawcett Flash went for around 27k about 4 or 5 years ago which seems like a steal now. Thanks.
