I may be a bit bias being a fan of both Sam and John's but I thought the first issue was great. It's definitely worth giving it a shot if you appreciate either one of their work.

Update: I received a response from Sparkle City Comics in regards to my message informing them that it was not a Ben Edlund page this morning. The message stated that it was an honest mistake from a new writer they are training. They did say they informed the winning bidder which is good, and the winner opted to keep the page. The page sold for $132 or so which is a fair price for the page imo. I would imagine bidders did some homework or already knew it wasn't Ben's work. Either way, I'm glad it was just a mistake and the auction didn't appear to be influenced by it.

Anyone else check it out yet?

That is correct. Ben did not draw that page and it is not from the issue they state it's from. They also spelled Ben's first and last name wrong but it really shouldn't be in the title anyway.

This is a heads up if anyone is possibly bidding or planning to bid on an original art page from The Tick Karma Tornado on eBay right now. It was not done by Ben Edlund, it's also not even from the issue stated. I message the seller (Sparkle City Comics) a few days ago and was never responded to. I also reported it yet it's still listed and ends later today. https://www.ebay.com/itm/132146837160 It may be too late to get it taken down but just wanted to toss it up here just in case anyone here is considering bidding on it under the impression that it's an Edlund page.

If they feel an image/sketch is too offensive they will not grade it.

It really is isn't it bud. I was surprised so many of the copies are SS because I'm not sure I've seen a 9.8 SS hit the market. Yet I haven't been paying very close attention to them.

This truly is incredible to be fetching such high prices with 64 9.8 copies on the census.
