  1. Latour posted this photo up on Instagram... Anyone know what the second from the bottom row coach cover is from?
  2. Heroes Con variants got snatched up 2-3 weeks ago, totally unrelated to this announcement unless there was some back door dealings (highly unlikely) . I went to see how much they had been going for and noticed a string of 6 in one day at $20 CDN.
  3. I'm pretty certain the hero con variant is the one to get lowest run and really was the hardest to get. Well that and the 3rd printing rest were straight forward to get.
  4. Free worker in Texas here as well! I am pretty sure they have to pay all involved, extras included. I'm pretty sure wherever it is filmed (New Mexico...tax break, rural, and the White Sands!) several boardies would be stoked to be an extra and paid with variants. I guess if they have to pay me, they can pay me a penny in Canadian that's like 3/4 of a penny US
  5. It's likely 2 years away if it's a summer special. As much as I'd like 2016 be the summer of Enormous it'll be likely 2017. But I sure hope it's 2016! Maybe it'll film in Toronto (I'm willing to work for free as a extra) But in all seriousness if it's not in the summer then it goes up against regular scheduled programs in the fall/spring which would put it in a huge risk of low ratings and potentially no season 2. Look at constatine, Friday night was a kiss of death, let alone the off primetime time slot of 8-10. while not ideal for audience #s (60% vs fall) Summer is the best case for Enormous. most shows are in rerun and people want new content. Granted this is all a bit to soon to really talk about. First we need a director and a pilot then we can discuss this. I work in advertising so that's where my mind goes when I hear this.
  6. Mystery Solved. Thanks Tim for letting us know.
  7. I was expecting to see some on the bay after day one but nothing usually the convention books are up mid afternoon day one. Even at crazy prices there's nothing.
  8. Today's the last day of Epic Expo - I have yet to see that variant up for sale anywhere which makes me worried.
  9. Just starting my TMNT Vol 1 cgc set, but came across this auction...this for real? link
  10. Oh god I want one of those, hope there's some left over so I can get my hands on one.
  11. NOOOOOOO I was hoping I could snag that OA for my office at work
  12. 174 and 175 are the first appearances of the hellspawn Gunslinger Spawn. Some of the various hellspawn first appearances command a decent price in high grade, like Mandarin. Also during the stretch of pretty low print runs. The two books have been getting good prices for awhile now. Patrick Yes there are quite a few issues between 150 and 200 that command decent money in high grade. The homage covers also command a good chunk of cash to get as well. oddly a lot of spawn back issues post #100 drive at least cover from what I've seen this past year tying to fill in the holes of my set.... 17 more to go and 174 & 175 are two of them.
  13. I don't think it matters if its pre-order, just post a photo before the online draw.
  14. So of the new Valiant series which ones seem to be key or must gets.. Heard divinity has some heat on it. and other ones?
  15. Valiant in the 1990s licensed Solar, Magnus, and Turok. Magnus only existed in the year 4001+, so he wasn't really part of the 1990s storyline. Turok was not a big part of the Valiant universe until later (and he existed in the lost land "out of time" for the most part). Solar was the licensed character with the most importance to the original Valiant universe. This character, Divinity, is god-like with unknown levels of power (at this point) who is possibly a replacement for Solar in some aspects. On the other hand, he's an African-Russian from the 1960s who has been part of a Soviet space program that disappeared 50 years ago. Now he's back doing we-don't-really-know-what in Australia... and Matt Kindt is the writer. Still, it's a four-issue mini-series, so if they kill him... well, that will end it pretty quickly. I called this on the valiant boards the other day. I think long term this will be huge. Really the first new Valiant Entertainment Character with own title. Love this book. I am surprised no copies out there yet graded at least by the census. These are sold out just about everywhere and all variants are long gone. The first print regular cover is still my favorite So a black Russian with unlimited powers... fantastic
  16. Jesus I'm now regretting selling my 4 copies of eosv 2 at 80 a pop
  17. Just when I think I'm done with the shop variant game.... You pull me back in.
