I'm still in the same holding pattern even tho they charged my cc for the full amount for the Jim Lee signing. I thought they  charged you after it was encapsulated.

And they also charged me for the Larry Hama one as well.

Yes it was. I ment to say re graded/slabbed. I'm on my phone at work so I hit submit by accident...lol.

I hope my book was there.

That sucks would it be worth it to get re-slabbed ?

I know which why I was a tad shocked that it's in grading or is just in holding till the signing.  Forgive my noobness.

Yeah no pressing,I didn't even get an email saying that it was received. My Jim Lee book needed a pressing and I think he is doing signings today at least that's what he said on the WhatsApp giveaway this morning.

My Larry Hama book G.I.Joe #155 which I sent in on 8-6 and was picked up 8-10 is now scheduled for grading 8-17 not sure where it goes from there I'm curious if it already got signed.

Yes that Jim Lee signing, Thanks for the info I kind of figured that but wasn't to sure being that this is my 1st and 2nd submission. 

Nice, My Jim Lee is in pressing since 7-20 I just sent my G.I.Joe #155 to get signed by Larry Hama they picked up but have not received it yet I didn't do pressing this time since it was pretty good.

Noob question but does anyone know when the Jim Lee signing will actually take place? The cut off was July 24th and I didn't see an update on Instagram.

That brings up a concern.  It is one thing when we agree and send our books to their facilities to be signed. I might understand if the just facilitate another "in house " signing to finish. 

It is another when we did not agree to have our property transferred to another place and increase chance for damage etc. Especially if they are calling these "In house signings " sounds like false statements.  

They really need to communicate these kind of things and ask permission to transfer our items to any other location or offer to send them back. 

this has the  potential for huge issues.

That sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

Just got an email yesterday saying they charged me $20 pressing fee. So I guess I have a long way to go.

UPDATE: As of July 20th my book is at CCS

I just submitted my X-Men #1 collectors edition for Pressing/Grading/Jim Lee signature. The only status I have right now is that they received my book from USPS and since the cut off is July 24, 2022 I probably won't hear much till after that.

I have my concert ticket from Woodstock 94 and a couple of coins that they used instead of cash. Is something CGC grades? I just replaced the bag and board it was in since then....not bad for something that's 28 years old.

I'd like to submit for the Venom event it says I need to buy a yellow window bag and when I checked on the site they are backorder so my question is how do I submit a book if I don't have a window bag and CGC has them on backorder?
